Professor Gold is one of the worst teachers to hit a classroom, he openly shames students and mocks them in class, he can't be reached out of class and goes off on tangents to keep students in class for the whole three hours instead of letting us leave early. He does not conduct himself like a professor or with self-respect. Do not take period.

Took him twice at MCC - do your work, study the outlines for tests he gives you and you'll pass easily. He does waste time by picking on students and having conversations but still gets the job done.

He is overall a great professor. Tells you exactly what will be on every test - including the final. If you take notes prior to going over a chapter in class you can get up to 5 extra credit points towards one test. Downfall he gets very off topic and has conversations with students for an hour which wastes a lot of class time.

it is my second time to take his class. This first time I only got C ( business 101). This time is marketing, I didnt get a grade yet. He gives 5 tests usually, and the final counts the most(about 30%), one of the tests he gave us the exact thing to study. gives extra credits some times. If u attend every class, and it would be much much easier.

Come to class it's part of your grade. He puts his notes up on the board, w/o the notes you're guaranteed to fail. Study the notes and the "checked-off" terms from every chapter heavily to pass the tests. Group work every so often in class. EC if you try hard enough. Miraculously I was exempt from the final. This man made me furious on the daily.

Best Professor at MCC. Attendance is mandatory. Gives extra credit so take advantage of it. Test aren't difficult as long as you study the material. Great sense of humor. TAKE HIM!

Professor Gold was a great professor! I was quite nervous to take him due to other reviews but I truly enjoyed attending his classes. His tests are pretty much directly from his notes. He is very funny, and straight forward. Do not expect to end class early. Just study your notes for tests and you will do great.

he will not tolerate students with sarcastic teenage attitude , responds to that with humor... is always willing to challenge the students by asking a series of questions to get u to think , he will debate he will give extra credit he is very fair gives u all the opps. in the world to pass with flying colors , must read. Participated & get a lot of extra credit Because my first test scores weren't great it hurt me & it was hard to gain it back Tests can be extremely hard if you dont study the 50 vocab words he highlights from each chapter Funny but easily gets off topic often He has favorites and lectures can get confusing and boring Too broad and gets frustrating

Be prepared to give an oral presentation at the end of the semester, it counts for 30% of your grade. A LOT of information to remember for the tests. He gives a lot of extra credit opportunities if you read the chapters and participate. He often rambles and gets off topic easily. I expected a higher grade than what I got but it is what it is.

Good professor. Def have to take notes and will need textbook. As long as you take his notes and read and know terms you should pass. He makes the class interesting and is funny at times. Text are a mix of multiple choice match and short answer questions. Taking him for the second time. Good over all professor.
