Ty Pierce goes the extra mile to make sure that his students understand the content, and makes getting from point A to B a memorable experience. He required much less homework than most, but because of his ability to actively teach the topic (rather than just having students read about it), I learned more in his class than any I have taken before.

Tyra Pierce is truly one of the most genuine and unique professors and human being I may ever come across. His care and humor made me feel like a whole different person when I entered his classroom. I loved taking Social Psychology with him and I hope I can take one of his courses someday!

Tyra's Human Sexuality class is an easy A if you show up. He is a wonderful teacher who cares about the well being of his student's and society as a whole. This is a very informational class that is interesting. I recomment taking it.

If you want a teacher that is both relate able and knowledgeable, then Ty is for you. He keeps the lectures interesting and ensures that all questions are met with honest and relevant answers/responses. As an additional way to keep his students interested, he does magic during the breaks. Bottom line, you won't be bored and you will learn a ton! J

Tyra Pierce is undeniably my favorite professor. Not only is he hilarious, but he actually keeps the class paying attention. When I enrolled for my classes, my adviser told me "oh everyone loves him!". She was correct. I have taken 2 courses with Mr. Pierce and I have already enrolled into another course primarily because he is teaching it!

Dr. Pierce is an excellent professor. He presents his lectures thoroughly but without difficulty. Hes very funny and definitely keeps your attention. Tests are self explanatory, as long as you show up and take notes youll have an easy time.

Drury University, give this man a tenured position. He's more qualified, attentive, and helpful than most other teachers I've taken here. There are no surprises in this course and I'm fairly confident that anyone could pass with ease while learning a lot. Take him at all costs.

In your 4 years at Drury University, you should do everything you can to take a class with Tyra Pierce. Especially as a first year course. His lectures are informative and interesting and he consistently makes real word connections. He emphasizes what a liberal arts education means to me and he proves why I chose Drury. He is accessible as well.

Wasnt sure what to expect with this class but so glad I took it! This guy is seriously amazing! His stories and magic tricks keep the class entertaining. This is one class I wont forget. Take him if you ever have the opportunity!
