I really enjoyed having Professor Robinson for Eng121. There are a good amount of papers and she does challenge you but if you work hard you will do great!! She gives amazing feedback and is very intelligent. Recommended!

Personally I enjoyed my time with Mrs. Robinson. Her class was simple and not too difficult. She starts the semester with an 8-page essay which some people may find abrupt, but i think doing so got the hardest part of the course out of the way, leaving the rest of the semester easier. She was the first professor who actually compelled me to read.

Professor Robinson is a very nice and respectable older lady and can give some chuckles every now and then; however, if you ever plan to have a life, do not take her English 112 class. She manages to turn an English class to a political science class. An eight page paper on a social issue was required, leaving me feel uncomfortable, and stressed.

Don't get me wrong, she's a nice caring professor but if you're looking to get your stuff done don't take her. She only assigns 3 papers over the course of the semester and more than one class period isn't really needed to explain the instructions. I sat in class so bored because her lectures about the papers were repetitive

She's a good teacher except she explains and repeats herself a lot which wastes class time. She spends like 20 minutes of class on like 1 assignment. She also doesn't ever tell you your grade unless your failing and need to withdrawal. Although, she does give really good feedback and cares about you and how you do in upper level courses!

Prof. Robinson is very passionate about what she teaches which is evidenced by her custom video curriculum for the class. The video lecture questions can be very time consuming, so start working on these early! She likes students to ask questions and contribute to class discussions. She will help you find sources for the research paper... just ask!

She is a difficult professor. Read 6 novels, had to write a 10 page research paper, do a bunch of lecture questions (15 pages outside of class), and she gave us a take-home final exam, which was (3) 5 page essays on all of the books. You will not have a clue what your grade is until the semester is over.

She graded different than what she told us to have. Class was very boring and she talked the whole time. We only talked about what is required on the assignment not so much about the specific novel. Things were always given back to the ENTIRE CLASS saying to redo the assignment. I would NOT recommend her for an English class!

RUN! I am a hard working student but her class is unbearable..she goes on and on about what she expects your papers to include when she could just say it once. She will not give you a percentage on your papers so your grade will be unknown. Things will be due and she wont even tell you. Bad teacher

Extremely knowledgeable, was lenient with late essays. BUT, there were people in the class that were struggling. Favorite phrase: ?don?t make me throw you off the Schwartz bldg? for repeating something which makes her seem unapproachable. SHE DOESN?T APPROVE OF TEAMWORK & GETS QUITE UPSET if another student comes to you for help vs going to her.

Loves reading and the novels she presents. Gives you a lot of information and a really cool DVD with lectures from other professors that really help you get a lot more from the novel. Will put class on the backburner, and will be late/cancel class at the drop of a hat. The grading complaints and stuff in the last couple reviews are all true.

Do Not...I repeat Do Not take this class if you want to have a good sondly based grade. You will have no assignments up until the final at all. Thus you will have no idea how you stand because she is to lazy to grade your two assignments. We got our papers back on our final with notes that she hopes we fixed our errors for our 15 page final. BAD

This class and professor was a disappointment. All she seemed to care about was her accomplishments. As far as the class went we never stayed with the syllabus, papers weren't given back until the day of the final, and she surprised everyone with three,5 page essays as a take home exam for her final. The week before it was do.Novel selection was poor.

She was always a few minutes late and did not follow her syllabus. We never knew our grades the whole semester. We read 6 novels and had video lectures about the novels. You should be in class to learn how the DVD works. You have to save the DVD on your C drive on your personal computer.

Great teacher! She loves to teach, She doesn't spoon feed you corrections on papers she makes you figure it out, she makes you actually think! I really appreciated her enthusiasm, it was challenging and stimulating.
