Boring & Easy class. 5 article reports are super easy. Just write your opinions. Group project is not bad. You have the whole semester to work on it. Group discussion is just for participation points. Prof is not helpful. Bring your laptop to class. Otherwise, you might fall asleep. Midterm & final are multiple choices. Just Read the Book. Easy A.

uhh, what can i say... 5 news articles, 1 group project which will be a 25 min. presentation, 1 midterm and 1 final, and No homework, with extra credit option...plus the extremely, most ridiculously, super ultra, mega, plain, absolutely boring tone of teaching, so my class.. at least 20 out of 40 are surfin the web or aiming during class..

This teacher wasn't that bad,as how others mentioned. He is a very fair grader,curve test if needed. 5 simple articles, 1 presentation, 1 extra credit, and attendance is a must. One thing I don't like about the class is group discussion everyday, need to partipate in order to earn partipation pts, but after all it's a stressfree class.

Class grading is simple: 20% each for two exams, one group project, class participation and 5 online articles. The articles, participation (showing up when he takes roll) and project are easy. Exams themselves are straight from the book and mostly definitions and keypoints (no tricks). The professor himself is very nice and approachable.

Overall: A-. Vijay is a mellow guy who repects students who do the painless article summaries and ask valid questions. Offers practical real-world case studies. However, the class lacked structure. But he's flexible-> I convinced him to give individual grades for the project. Phew.

Great class! He is very helpful and organized. The bad part is that there is so much in this class to digest. If you are taking other hard classes, better save this for easy sems. You would need to put your mind to this full time.

Its an interesting class in that you open up your eyes to world trade and its effect. His study guides can be better, so don't rely on them. But all i actually did was my reading and still earned an A- in that class. One big group project where everyone has to talk, so don't join a group of FOBs.

I had him before for bus 187 so I knew what I was getting into. What everyone say is true. His tests are hard, class's boring, attend class is a must for points; however, the presentation, and papaers are easy points. Just do average on his small curved self study tests. You'll end up with a B.

Very hard class. A lot of assignment and a group project required worth very litte points. Have to attend class every time for group points. Study guide does not follow the exams. Very hard to understand and boring.
