I loved Concert Choir. Kempster does tend to yell during choir rehearsals a lot, but the results and performances are worth it. Grade is completely attendance based. If you show up to every rehearsal and concert it is an automatic A.

Funny as hell. I really enjoy his jokes and comments. He makes singing a joy, and really pushes you to be a better performer and musician. I love his class. Got a temper, but it is usually justified. Just love to sing, dont talk or text in class, and you're golden.

Bill is definitely... interesting. He is an EXCELLENT musician, however, his people skills lack greatly. I was at a concert once where he stopped a piece midway to reprimand a little girl for crinkling a piece of paper. He's very opinionated and like I said, basically horrible with people, but he's a great music instructor!

William Kempster is brilliant. His teaching methods are... unique but you will learn more from him than you will believe. He makes class fun in a wierd way but he keeps everyone very focused. He makes you work but he takes a little getting used to. Not everyone gets along with him but either way you learn a lot.

Well, after my first 7 weeks or so taking Concert Choir, I have to say that although this class is very different from H.S., it isn't in a bad way. He definately takes some getting used to, but he's certainly a great prof, and he loves his work. And come on! How can you NOT love the accent? "You sound like a lot of Aussies comin' out of a pub!"

Look ****es, he's the best damn choir teacher there is. There's a reason for his madness, he whips us into shape and we're a damn good choir thanks to him. He has to control like 120 people at once, he's gotta lay a slap down every once in a while, but 80% of his "insults" are sarcastic and not real. So get a grip!
