Not all college students want a brilliant professor. It's a good idea to get all you can from college. Pretty soon we will all be out there scraping paint off stuff for a living. So, yes. Take tough courses and be smart and think. It can be helpful in the road to a job where you aren't laying roofing tile in the desert in 110 degree heat.

Oh my God! Dropped this class. DO NOT TAKE HIM!!!!! 10 essays to write for half your grade. ALL ESSAY TESTS! and no partial credit. His lectures are so boring, and goes over the same thing again and again. He's too old to be teaching anyways. Good Luck if you have him. Avoid if possible

brilliant man. hard to tell when you see him, though. not very clear all of the time, but VERY willing to help in any way possible! I would recommend him, highly! Hope you like essay tests, that's almost all there is!

Good teacher. He really helps you understand what was going on, and gives copies of any documents used in class via email (along with interesting quotes). Tests consisted of 2 essays or a bunch of identifications (mini-essays), but he gave us a good idea of what to expect beforehand.

Weird looking guy, lectures way too much. Expects you to show up everyday, and listen to him talk. Very picky about cell phones or anything electronic. He's a good guy just boring, and hard. He does know his history though. Just be sure to study for the tests which are mostly essays. He doesn't give specifc notes on what the test will be on either.

I took it on DVD and it was great. He was understanding and flexible. His tests were fair and he gave the essay topic ahead of time-they were the essay question reworded. I think he is a super teacher that anyone would want.

He knows what he is talking about, but just make sure you are the type that can sit and just listen to lecture. Taking notes is very difficult because he doesn't stay on one topic for very long. But he is always willing to help out and explain things in different ways. Make sure you do drink an energy drink though.

you never know where he is in the book. he does not give good notes and he mumbles when he teaches. make sure you drink a lot of coffee before you go to class.
