Professor Austin is a great professor. Not my favorite professor but definitely in the top 5. His class is generally easy although watch out for the Domestic Violence exam (it's made by former students and based on a pamphlet you are expected to read and memorize.) Otherwise the exams are easy and the Will to Kill papers are easy A's. Taking again!

Prof Austin is concise, approachable, knowledgeable in every aspect of what he teaches, flexible, and lectures in an interesting way which for the subject isn't easy to do. The exams are a good mix of text material and lecture notes. His slides are available online. He is a fair grader and does curve. I would recommend him to anyone

I had this instructor for an online class and I thought there was a alot of writing (over 1000 per week). The tests were difficult too. Granted this was an online course so you had to teach yourself but I was not happy with the way the grading was done. If you take his classes online be prepared to do alot of writing and studying for the exams.

Best professor I've had so far. His power points are straight forward and it's all you need to study from to get an A in the course. The tests aren't hard at all, same format for each one of 50 questions. Pretty funny and very interesting, best class I've taken.
