He really made this class enjoyable and he was willing to work with you to help you do well in his class. He is one of the few professors that want you to do well and will act on it. Some say they want you to do well but they're not very willing to act on it.

This professor is seriously the best!!! He makes this class so interesting and fun, plus hes quite funny his self. You get a cheat sheet for the tests so thats great, and hes always very helpful if needed. I would most definitely recommend him. All you have to do is put in (some) work and youll get a good grade.

Wonderful professor with a great attitude. Teaching style is great. He will work with you to get an A in his class. He makes the course look very easy. Highly recommended if you are taking science electives.

He allows one note sheet during tests, so take good notes during lectures and use the note sheet to your advantage. There are 2 papers about current events throughout the semester. I never got the grades back on the papers but I did get the tests, he didn't use blackboard much. He cares about the environment and I learned a lot in this class.

Love the teachers personality but the lectures will put you to sleep. You better take good notes because he doesn't like to use powerpoints as much. Tests are based off of lecture and not the book. There no options for extra credit. He can be forgetful so beware. I wish i knew all of this at the beginning of the semester.

You cannot fail this class. Bill keeps it interesting, fair, and gets right to the point with whatever concept he is trying to get you to grasp. Allows notes for the exams, not cumulative. You dont need the book, just take notes on what he says during the lectures!! I've taken 3 classes with him. Honestly, this is the way teachers should teach.

Not too bad of a teacher, but he has a bad grading system: 93=A 85=B 75=C 65=D. He allows you to bring a sheet of notes, and that is helpful. The material is somewhat difficult, but that is to be expected. Keep up with the readings and bring in a good page of notes and you will be fine.

Mr. Schockner is THE BEST!!! He is hillarious and super entertaining, especially his childhood note in the bottle story. Made the course fun. Participate and take good notes. He allows a cheat sheet for tests, front and back. Easy A. I'm def. going to miss his class.

Made class fun and interesting, had a lot of insightful information. A lot of lecture but he can keep your attention. Tests are easy if you study and read the book. Very easygoing, understanding, normal person, and easy to reach and communicate with. Also kinda hot if you're into nerdy science guys. Try to get him for the lab-I didn't & regret it.

Took this class in summer and didn't really like it. he is a good person and a teacher but his grading system sucks. his A is 93% and no extra credit.He does allow one page front and back of notes for tests. But u have to know the meaning of each and every word u write(especially the class notes which he gives) plus u have to read the book.

Took both 101 and 102 with him.This class is an easy B but hard to get an A.93% is an A and there is no extra credit. he does allow one page back and front to write on for the tests. I would recommend some other course as Envs101 is hard for a gened.
