Gives good notes. Goes over all test content. Overall a straight forward and good teacher. Lots of content to cover, to pass you need to put in the work. Always will to answer questions. Love his teaching style!

You'll need to put time into this class - at least 2 hrs outside class for every hour in class. He expects students to put in the work, but is very helpful and accessible if you ask questions! I have learned so much from his courses! He knows his subject matter well. Provides study guide for exams - they're tough but he does give bonus points.

Comment:

Trotter is the definition of a true college professor. His class is lecture heavy but gives you a study guide way in advance with what will be on the test. It doesn't get much better than that. It's up to you to put forth the effort in the class. He has a dry sense of humor but it's very funny. I would take another class with him! Momma we made it

Comment:

Trotter teaches straight from the textbook. His notes are verbatim from the book, and there is no new information. He gives a lot of hands on opportunity for lab but otherwise is very lecture heavy. I was not a fan of his teaching style.

I would take another class with him in a heartbeat! His grading scale is unusually easy, but his class is not. He tells you exactly what will be on the test and practicals (exact questions for write-out questions) which is very helpful. You will have to study, but you will know your stuff very well by the end. Great for nursing students!

Very traditional and thorough professor. The only one who has provided NOT ONLY a study guide, but a break down of the exams and tells you exactly what is on it. He provides printed notes so you will not have to take any (THE BEST THING BY FAR). Not the most exciting class but definitely the most fair and least confusing one.

Mr. Trotter is the best college professor I have ever had. This was one of the most difficult classes I've taken but if you try your absolute best, attend all lectures and all labs you most likely will pass. He is so clear about what he wants that you should know whats going on at all times. He's also very funny if he likes your class! Great guy!

Professor Trotter is the best professor I have experienced at DMACC. He is so knowledgable and you feel amazed by how quickly he can answer any question you may have and by how in depth he goes on his topics. His class is information heavy, but he gives you in depth study guides and test formats so you know exactly what to study. 85%A in his class

Great professor, probably my favorite at the college level. Lecture heavy class, but he has printed outlines for each lecture so no true notes needed during. Study guides are pretty specific and though the class has tons of information, its very clear what he wants you to learn. You definitely have to work for this class, though.

Super challenging, best lecturer at DMACC, has high expectations that will make you learn. He gives you packets full of info that include EVERYTHING on tests. There is a weekly lab quiz that he clearly tells you what to study, but you DO NEED to study around 2 hours per 1 hour spent in class. I have 100% (extra credit on exams), but I work for it.

Excellent knowledge of his field. The class is detailed and rigorous but A&P should be. He hands out his notes and he never includes anything on his exams not in the notes. The lab practicals are detailed and difficult but he gives you plenty of points to dilute bad grades. You MUST attend class and you MUST study outside of class to do well.

I really enjoyed this class and Mr. Trotter was very difficult but that was because you need to memorize ALOT. I took a zero on one lab practical and still got a B+ but i studied alot. I would definitely recommend if you are motivated to study and work hard. Gives you list of everything on the test so as long as you study hard you can do well.

He really is a great professor! Really knows what he is talking about and sometimes adds a little humor to his lectures/labs. He is always willing to help you out if you have any questions or need help understanding something clearer. He can be a tough grader but that is because he wants you to learn the material. Overall great professor!

He gives you a packet and reads from the packet for the lecture. Everything in packets is what is on the tests. Expects you to memorize a lot in a little amount of time. You must study in order to pass his class.

BEST teacher I have ever had. He really knows his stuff! His grading and exams are clear cut, he lets you know what will be on the exams which helps. Definitely attained a lot of information from this course! If you are not willing to put 1 or 2 hours of studying in everyday, don't bother taking his class. You only get out of it what you put in.
