He is such an awesomely funny guy, in a weird understated way. He's so incredibly intelligent - it blows the mind and makes class crazy interesting. But he does ramble off topic quite a bit which can be frustrating. His tests are also long and vague. He marks tough on essays. But he's also willing to take time out to help you if you ask for it.

Vague and ambiguous on tests. Says one thing in lectures then marks your answer on test wrong anyway. Nothing but notes. No handouts. Nothing to study from but your notes. Nice guy but confusing. Rambles. Not my fav prof by far. Do not recommend as a prof for this course.

Comment:

Mr. Kozlinski is an excellent professor. He is very clear and very knowledgeable. I took this course because I liked his teaching methods so much in a previous course. The class itself is a four hour chunk once a week and our class is in a room with very uncomfortable plastic chairs but we spend the whole time watching movies so it's alright.

Yeah I agree with whoever said the TA would make a better teacher. He was definitely more helpful and useful than Wojtek was. Maybe this guy teaches better in senior level courses; definitely not junior level ones.

Wojtek manages to make the most complex make sense. He speaks in clear prose and brings so many concrete examples to class. It was so helpful. I learned so much in his classes.

Very knowledgable... but that's not a good thing because he would go on forever about one point and finally comes to something irrelevant.. Wasted a lot of time in class and didnt get very deep into the play. Maybe he shouldnt be teaching junior courses where people dont care about such details.

had him for drama 102 and 308. Don't take him for junior level courses (like 102) he doesn't want to be there, so he's not a very good teacher.. BUT he's really good in the senior courses. Much more enthusiastic and very knowledgable.

Worst prof I have ever had, not only was his exams off topic but so was his lectures. He would tell us one thing and do another. Have no idea why he is still teaching at the U.

The course was play analysis, and we only analyzed one or two plays. Spent the rest of the time off topic. Interesting, but not a good prof.
