Comment:

This is the only class that gives me good memories from the first semester of my first year in community college. Too sad she is leaving in 2 years and retiring and moving up north. She has been a saint. I will miss her. �� Math is my strength.

Lectures go are quick. Many student are failing her class right now. Many people ended up dropping. She teaches the long way, so if youre bad at math DONT take this class. No test corrects or study guide. HW is only 20% while tests are worth 80%. If you get 100 on the hw, but fail the tests, you'll fail the class. We have 4 tests and 1 final exam.

Does not teach well! She teaches way too fast and always does the longer ways of each math problem. Pearson teaches better than her :/ It's also hard to catch up if you are behind.

If you need someone to explain thoroughly and not fast this is not the teacher for you. She is very nice although when it comes to teaching she doesnt properly explain and go through the problems, any questions you have, you have to ask after class. Sometimes when asking questions she wont fully understand the question and just move on.

ATTEND EVERYDAY AND DO HOMEWORK EVERYDAY, AND YOU WILL PASS, IF NOT THIS CLASS CAN BE EXTREMELY HARD. HAS 4 TESTS, ALL FAIR QUESTIONS. GIVES EXTRA CREDIT. I took this professor for Math 115 and 125. She is the best math professor Ive had so far at Pierce College. She is always there to help you with any questions through email and during class. There are 4 test all 21 questions. Make sure you do all the hw. Dont skip Bc youll miss stuff. She is very kind and understanding. She knows your name too!

If you want to understand math and pass to next level knowing the material, then have this professor. She's amazing. Addresses all questions. I emailed her weekends and she replies - Really caring and amazing!! She makes class go over her lectures during the class and checks one by one to make sure you got it. TEST, verifies one by onemore points.

Took her for Asap which combines math 115&125, I could say that class wasn't hard. The thing is you need to make sure you keep up with the homework she assigns online because it's a lot and can get overwhelming. And make sure you study for the exams( there's a total of 7, for 115 she drops one). She also takes attendance seriously so be careful!

Calculus is not an easy class and she does not offers extra credit, but is willing to help as much as you need. She is a reasonable person, she genuinely cares for the students. Gives a lot of homework, but if you do the homework the quizzes and exams are not a challenge.

She has a really annoying high pitched accent that do t really understand. Teaching style is horrible. I guess attendance is hard core. Pretty much got a hard on for a load of homework eventhough you got an exam the next day. Goodbye life

She is truly the best math teacher that is at pierce college. She's such a sweetheart I would take her class again in a heart beat! Tabatabai may see like she's this big tough little late but in reality she isn't she is always available in her office hours if needed. But be sure to do her homework!

Professor Tabatabai is not your typical calc instructor. She will work you until you know integration like the back of your hand, but also go above and beyond to help you succeed. She is an extremely wise and approachable person, so don't be afraid to ask questions. Expect 3 tests, 11 quizzes (one of which is dropped), and a comprehensive final.

Attendance is mandatory. Quizzes are every Monday worth 10-12 points. Drops the lowest quiz grade. You have 4 test including the Final. Tests are TOUGH! There is 16-18 questions on each test. She's very stingy with half credit points. Does not drop the lowest test score. So pretty much if you're a bad at taking test this is not the class for you.

Professor Tabatabai is one of the best professors I've ever seen. She is very helpful, She knows her stuff. Try to get full credit for weekly quizzes. Tests are not hard but challenging. she answers all your questions and if she has no time, you can go to her office, Overall She is an Angel. Don't stop to think her class JUST TAKE IT
