She is a really good professor. She explains MTH 4110 very well. Her lecture is very clear. She uses technology to improve her lecture. She use ONE NOTE to write math notes and explain it, and posted her notes on Blackboard after the class. That's pretty cool teaching way. Yep, she assigns a lots of homework, but math need practices.

By far the best math professor in Baruch. Professor Allen really does everything to make sure her students succeed. She goes in depth with everything, and her notes are very clear. She makes sure to go over all the homework problems. Her tests are pretty straightforward and similar to what you'll find on the final. She really is amazing.

Comment:

A^2M is a really sweet lady. MTH 2205 is not an easy class. She tried to ensure that students understood the concepts, but this led her to have to rush at the end of the lecture. Despite this, her videos on blackboard are phenomenal, and I used them to study for all the tests. She really does care and, is always available to help her students.

I cannot believe how awesome professor Allen was. It was my best decision to take her for this course. MTH 2205 is not the easiest subject, but like someone else said before, she makes it easier. She's a sweet, caring and fantastic lady. A must take!!

simply amazing. quiz every week. Tests are hard but prepares you for the final. Tests 51%, hw&quiz 16%, final 33%. EC is exam corrections & similar problems. She really cares for her students & will go the extra mile if you need any help. Prior experience and her curves helped me barely pass. totally would take her again. She is worth it.

She is the best professor in Baruch. She goes above and beyond her call of duty and treats her students with respect, care and sweetness. Her exams are a bit challenging but are very fair if you put in the work. She is a shining beacon for Baruch and a truly rare find when it comes to professors.

If you have issues with math take her! She is the best professor at Baruch she truly cares about her students. She knows her math and she will work with you until you learn it. She makes all the notes from class available online. She prepares you for the final and for life. She explains real life applications for what we are learning. She the best!

Don't get the hype. All she does is rush through the material and throws notes at the class. The class is then forced to learn it on their own. This is a self study course and its calculus, so good luck.

Professor Allen is truly a great professor. She really cares about her students' grades and will do her hardest to boost them. No participation required and took attendance twice. Don't miss a lecture!She is very passionate about the subject and will randomly compare calculus concepts to real life things. Get ready to hear about the sea lion trick.

She is a sweetheart! No matter how stupid your question sounds she will handle it with respect and will answer you at all costs. Her tests are exactly the same as the material she teaches in class, no surprises.

I don't recommend missing her lectures though. Each lecture is packed with useful informations, and if you miss one, you're screwed,

Good professor. However, she speeds up too fast during her lectures. She should have made sure if the students understand the material but I'm surprised nobody in her class has questions. If you need help, she will be happy to during office hours. But she is fine. Exams cover what she goes over in the class.

She is one of the best professors in Baruch, she makes everything crystal clear easy to understand and really made me confident in math. She really wants you to do well and puts in lots of effort. There should be more professors like her. I wish I had her for 2205 as well.

Comment:

I REALLY don't understand the negative feedback for professor Materowski. She literally slaves away for her students, in my 4 semesters at Baruch never has a professor tried to make sure everyone did their best. Lectures are good, notes are even better, holds reviews, gives extra credit, curves, and makes sure you learn something.
