She is very set in her ways but very intelligent. She is very conservative, so if you're liberally inclined... be aware of that. I have had classmates tell me that she is racist but I have never heard or seen anything that indicated that she is- despite her differing views, she remains respectful.

A good teacher who will improve your writing capabilities. The lectures lack on some days but what you do learn in her class will go a long way in the future.

Great professor but you have to work for your grade. She does give a lot of essays but it is an english class. She does help you if you ask. Don't be afraid to take her just make sure you do your work!
