one of the best professors Ive ever had. Mrs. Riggs is the BEST. I loved her class. Ive always struggled in math and she made it so much easier on me. She is so caring and wants you to succeed. I went to office hours everyday and she was more than happy to help. Once I started my 8 week class she even met with me at a separate time.

To be honest, she is one of the best classes I had in my first year at Tarleton and if you are decent at math you should do well and if not ask for help, she is always willing to help.

She is seriously the BEST math professor on campus. If you have the opportunity to take any of her courses, do it! She is very sweet and understanding. She explains things in a way that anyone can understand and you can always get help outside of class! The tests are not that bad if you attend class, plus she gives partial credit! Do the homework!

She is the sweetest professor I have met. She tries to be funny and get the class involved. She does lots of group work activities that help you understand the material. Her exams are pretty easy, you just have to pay attention in class. She will legit help you in anyway possible to pass. Theres no way you can fail!

I absolutely love this class!! She explains things very well. I recommend taking stat with her. This class is mostly based on your online homework and 5 tests including the final. Sometimes she give quizzes. Online hw is super easy because there is unlimited attempts.

Great math teacher, really cares about her students and wants them to pass. She is happy to answer any questions you might have, even if they are about another class. She really tries to make sure that everyone understands the material before the test. There are a few projects but they are easy A's, but make sure you start them early.

The class can be difficult at times but if you take the time to go see her during her office hours she will help you understand the material. Really enjoyed her class if I could I would take her for cal 2 and 3. I really recommend taking her you won't regret it!

She is very good at not only explaining the problem but explaining the process behind solving said problem. What makes me recommend her, though, is her willingness to work with students. I missed a TON of class (I would often sleep through 3-5 alarms) yet whenever I asked for help, she was more than willing to work with me. TAKE HER IF YOU CAN!!!!

What an excellent professor. I would have made an A in her Cal 1 class if i wouldn't have skipped so much. She always smiles, and is very positive and funny. She'll readily go over your test with you 1-on-1 if you want, and she is very understanding. There's a reason she's been teaching at TSU for so long.

Dr. Riggs is the best!! She's always so fun and helpful and makes sure every one of her students understands the concepts! Doesn't make you feel stupid or afraid to ask questions. Five tests + a final give you plenty of chances to boost your grade. Tests and quizzes are fair. Overall awesome and fun teacher! :) Would happily take again.
