Comment:

I absolutely loved her A&P 1 class. It is clear she cares about her students and wants them to succeed. Having access to the lectures online is so helpful, and I really appreciate her exam replacement as it got me an A! This class is still hard though, make sure to take good notes and study a lot. Exams are hard, but she still gives extra credit!

I greatly enjoyed blended A & P with Dr. Durham. She is extremely caring and genuinely wants her students to succeed. Class structure is straightforward. The blended version allowed flexibility and the ability to take good, detailed notes. It takes discipline throughout the semester which some students may lack. Take awesome notes and study often!

Professor Durham is by far the best science teacher I have ever had!!! She teaches the material in a way that is actually interesting, which makes it easier to learn. She also really cares about her students and wants them to succeed. That being said her test are difficult, but she does tell you what you need to know. She is a wonderful teacher!!!

Professor Durham explains things to her students in a way that makes sense to them. She is clear about what she wants on her exams. Pay attention in lecture and you will be fine

Dr. Durham is an amazing professor. She has really good lectures and throws in some case study's to relate the material to real life. Her homeworks are fun and easy and her tests are the best I've ever had. You definitely have to work for your grade, but if you put in the time and effort you'll do great!

Kathy is a very kind lady. She is very understanding, but this is definitely not an easy A. You need to be willing to put the effort forth. You should attend all lectures and take good notes. That said, she does give you everything you need to know and will help you in any way you need, whether it pertains to her class or your own personal life.

LOVE HER! She's funny and super nice! The only downsight I had taking her class is Im not a good note taker and she doesn't give you anything there. Thompson writes them out for you and I missed that. She is clinical ? heavy and a tough but fair grader. Durham will do anything she can to help you if you ask. She's great.

Comment:

I'm a criminal justice major who some how found myself in the scary health science building. Her lectures were easy to follow, available online for review and most of all they kept your attention. For health science majors I expect it would be even more interesting as she explains application of material in a healthcare setting.

Kathy was the first instructor I have ever had and I'm not sure how anyone else could top her. She is incredibly thorough, uses hilarious real life stories to help you remember certain terms, and ultimately cares about each student and their performance in her class. And her lectures are all recorded so if you miss you can still watch the lecture.

Dr durham it is a very diligent and to the point professor. If you attend the class ,you pay attention and afterwords study there is no way you will not understand the lecture. I was scared in the the beginning, but all comes together now . You should not be afraid of asking questions . She is great on giving you the right answer. Be confident

Dr. Durham is teaching me A&P I right now and she's so kind. She has real world experience and I enjoy her lectures a lot. The class is really, really hard and requires a lot of studying but Kathy makes it enjoyable and I feel included in the lectures. I'm going to try to get her again for A&P II.

Kathy is a once in a life time all around WONDERFUL teacher! She goes out of her way to help you understand difficult concepts, by using every day analogies that really REALLY help you remember. She is like the mother you never had and the grandma you always wanted. I do NOT have enough kind words in my vocabulary to explain how wonderful she is!!

Mrs. Durham is a sweet lady. However, when it comes to tests, she gives you SO much material and isnt clear whats going to be on the exam and what isnt. She tries to trick you. There is matching, and even worse, fill in the blank (are we in elementary school?) I have a bachelors, and it was the hardest test Ive ever seen or taken. Had to drop.

Kathy is by far the best professor Ive had at lc. I took her for A&P 1 & 2. She makes A&P fun to learn and relates lecture to real life scenarios. You must study outside of class though, heavily! It is the key to doing well in her class. She gives you all the information you need but you have to do your part as well. Such a wonderful lady love her

AMAZING. she is the best a&p instructor here at LC. everything, literally everything that is on the tests comes exactly from her mouth from the lectures and she records them so if you arent a good note taker it makes it very helpful. she is there for you. tests are hard if you dont study, but she reviews the notes and tells you what to study exact

Best professor at LCCC! Very kind women and explains the material great! I took it blended so I had lecture videos which were great. I was able to re watch them and pause them. Met once a week for 50 minutes where she gave extra credit and answers any questions. Would take again!

Absolutely loved Kathy. I took her anatomy 2 as a web blended class. If you show up to the actual class period once a week and have your notes completed, you get 4 extra credit points which is awesome! If you show up she will also explain exactly what is on her test and what you'll need to study. Overall, great teacher.
