Tough class. I will say it from the beginning...DO THE TEST CORRECTIONS. This will help your grade immensely. Overall the class was tough, you have to teach yourself a lot or go to si sessions. His handwriting is very difficult or should I say impossible to read. Make sure he knows who you are, ask questions in class, and you're fine.

tests are tough, had him for financial accounting. 3 tests and a final with some graded excel exercises. if you do test corrections for the tests, bumps your semester grade up half a letter grade. definitely take if you are not an accounting major and dont care about accounting

if you want to really learn about the material don't take mcgung-ho because he can't teach and his class is very boring, but if you want to do little work and still get a good grade and are ok with teaching yourself the material then he's a good teacher to take. No homework or quizzes and has 3 pretty easy tests and the final.

great guy always willing to help, however the class is so boring. all you have to do is sit there. you teach the material to yourself but the book is pretty good at explaining and there's also an SI. he likes improvement and will reward with good grades. if you show him your trying he is very understanding...

McGarvey is overall a good teacher. Class is very boring and tests are hard. But if you show up for class, do the test corrections, and study you will get a great grade. Take him if you want a relatively easy teacher and a great guy

His class is extremely boring and I had to pretty much teach the class to myself since he drifts into irrelevant topics, however, u dont have to do anything in class except sit there which was awesome. If u read the chapters & do all of the extra credits you'll get a good grade. VERY nice man, gives help if you need it. very generous with grades!!

He whistled alot and will put you to sleep. If you ask for help and participate, he will go the extra mile for you. Have no idea how I got my grade, considering he tests you on the things he doesnt say. Study the textbook, and do your other HW in his class, b/c notes are useless. DO THE TEST CORRECTIONS! very quotable, lol.

Nice guy but seems to think the class is life lessons with William. Between the random claps, jot this down and whistling you end up not learning anything in class. Tests are multiple choice, but you have to learn the entire book yourself. Your better off dropping this one.

Probably the nicest man you will ever meet. Very easy-going. He has a much different teaching style than any other accounting professors. Review the book and study the powerpoints and you will do fine on tests. Don't bother with the homeworks because his tests and the final are multiple choice, nothing like the homeworks.

Hes such a nice guy. The tests are decently hard, but you should be fine if you study and go to the review sessions. There are 3 projects that are easy 100's. Its hard to stay awake in class- the last 1/2 hr is painful, but is accounting ever really interesting?

Really nice guy. Really boring class. Don't bother paying attention or taking notes in class. Just read, take notes on, and study the book for tests, alot. No homework. Accounting in general is a hard subject, I'd take him again just because he doesnt give much work.

Is a great guy! Really isn't out to get anyone. Tests are tough though. All multiple choice. 2 tests and a final. Sometimes is unclear and doesn't have a structured lesson so learning from the book is key. I'd take him again because it's so work. All you need to do is study hard right before the test and you'll be fine.

Very nice and intelligent man. His handwriting is aweful and most of his teaching is him lecturing and waving his hands around. You have to work and study hard but that still won't garuntee you a good grade
