You will regret his class. You may see a low level of difficulty, but grading is entirely subjective.

I LOVED him. Didnt do practically any work until the week before finals and he was so understanding and gave full credit. He gives a lot of homework but its super easy and its all about summarizing articles. I really did like his passion for what he taught. Good guy.

It was frustrating that although the material wasn't hard, my grade was in the hands of whether or not my answers fit his opinions. Points could seemingly be taken off for no reason. Although the class was titled "Pioneers of Psychology," it was about social rights issues. As much as Woodward is a good guy, I do not believe he is cut out to teach.

Just an honestly terrible teacher. When you read the other reviews and they say he's a conspiracy theorist, they're not lying. Apparently MLK was assassinated by the FBI. I didn't learn anything for the entire class, all we do is watch awfully-produced "movies" from the 90s. He still believes Freud is right NEEDS to retire!

He's crazy. He is LITERALLY crazy. He's a huge conspiracy theorist and uses his classes to get out as man crazy things as he can because we're a captive audience. Did you now 911 was supposedly orchestrated by the US government to help them further their drug cartels?? Well, I didn't either, but I sure heard about it enough. Not worth the grade

Very confusing and annoying class. Homeworks due every class that were incredibly tedious. He takes off points seemingly randomly, contradicting his grading policies constantly. Makes up plagiarism rules that nobody else follows just to punish students he doesn't like. Will disregard his grading policies too to punish students he doesn't like.

AVOID! HWs each class, Potential Quiz each week including on material just learned, Takes off points as much as possible + does not explain y clearly, Harsh grader on the paper, Does not take feedback from students nor allows much discussion, mostly rude but can be nice so basically confusing, Expects students to know what he wants for assignments.

Easy teacher. Simple homework given out and due weekly. Quizzes are determined weekly by a dice roll. 4,5, or 6 means no quiz. Decent sized paper due at the end of the semester. The subject matter is interesting, but he sometimes goes off topic with conspiracy theories. Somewhat unclear at times. No textbook.

I think that Bill needs to retire. His lectures and assignments are unclear. He doesn't allow us to have extensive discussions on the issues we're talking about, because he doesn't seem to know as much about the topics as he claims to at the beginning of the semester. His assignments are confining and don't give us room to express our ideas.

I had professor Woodward as a grad student in Psych. It was one of the best classes that I ever took in college. He is wildly enthusiastic about history as it applies to science and gave us the tools to evaluate current scientific analysis in relationship to historical approaches. He was quick to provide resources on all sides of an issue.

If you have a different opinion from him you are wrong. He is very unclear about what he expects. homework is due every class and he takes off random points for nothing. 1 paper but he doesnt even read it. You roll a dice every fri to see if you have a quiz. goes off on rants and its hard to follow. no exams but tedious work

OK class, no exams, just annoying quizzes where you write a page and use concepts from the readings. 1 paper and presentation. He can go on rants about his political beliefs but pretty educated overall. Picky grader, readings can be a little weird, you go over a lot of topics, but youll probably get an A.

Easy class. Sounds overwhelming at first but hes a very easy grader. Important to go to class and participate but easy A. lots of busy work but you get full credit just for completing it. One simple presentation and research paper. No exams, just one page essay quizzes. No required texts.

He is a pretty nice guy; however, sometimes he is not as egalitarian even though he says he is. He forces people to talk in class when they don't have nothing to say. The classes are highly interesting; it's not one of those classes where you can sleep in. He encourages people to do there work and is fair when it comes to getting your work in. Rec.

amazing professor. a genious. he wants his students to learn about themselves and about the world. he shares his views but respects other views and truly wants to hear other opinions. he is like no professor you have ever had. he really cares about students, is so fair and flexible, and he teaches about life, not just about a stupid textbook.

If people actually took his classes they would understand that the controversy over his teaching is completly rediculous. He is not pushing his views on anyone. His class has a lot of work, but as long as you keep up with it you will be fine. His classes are always interesting and informative.
