This man talks A LOT. Talks talks talks. Do not take if you are not interested in learning through non-stop talking. His projects can be lack luster, but he grades fairly easy. Also, he is nice.

Best professor! Sweetest man, very helpful and really offers a lot. A lot of work, but not too hard. Exams are pretty easy. I really enjoyed the class and would reccomend Professor Burford to anyone.

I had him for Design I. He gives a lot of work but it's easy. If you turn in all your work [on time] and come to class you'll get an automatic A. He was a very understanding guy, even though he did seem to go off topic quite a bit.

Basically very easy...do your best, turn in work on time and show up for class...guaranteed A. Nice guy, a little spacey, but pretty cool. If you form a relationship with him he will go the extra mile to help you along. If you have your own style, he allows you to develop it, which many teachers won't do.

Prof Burford was a very laid back instructor. His critiques can be a little long winded, but I almost always felt that they were fair and accurate. He really wants you to get to be a better artist/designer and he pushes you to become so. He is very nice and always finds something positive to say about your work.

I had Mr. Burford for Drawing I (FA 105) and Design II (FA 104). He is a very good professor who is very helpful and very clear. He teaches drawing excellently.
