This class ia hard, there is no other way to put it. However, Dr. Clark is truly one of the best teachers in Gatton. I would definitely take him again if I could. Well worth the time and effort put into the class because I got so much out of it.

Comment:

Bob Clark is one of the most knowledgeable finance professors you will find. His class is very fast-paced and difficult. There is no way around that. However, if you put in the time, go see him during his office hours, and keep pace with the reading, you'll be fine. Not as bad as its reputation precedes it. You just have to work very hard.

This class is very hard, it is as simple as that. Bob is the only one that teaches the class so if you are a Finance major you have to take him. Very boring, unhelpful, and his tests are a lot harder than you expect them to be. He wouldn't be that bad, but his test problems do not match up well with the homework problems assigned. If you can avoid him, do it.

ok, this guy thinks he is gods gift to accounting. he teaches the material way harder than it should be, if you can even call it teaching. he expects you to read the chapters 4-5 times to understand the material. I have had one C in college and got a D in this course. worst experience i have had throughout all of my schooling.

This professor does not teach at all! He vaguely reviews a few of the homework problems during class, and that is about it. He sticks to the book, but that is only because he allows it to do all the teaching for him. There is a way around his class btw, you have to take both ACC301 & ACC302 to do it. You'll need special permission to do this.

He honestly is not very hard. He has pop quizzes, but each quiz comes directly from the homework and he usually gives the quizzes the day the homework is due. As for the test, he doesn't surprise you by any means, if you understand the homework you should get an A on the test. all test questions are just like hw problems. Basically just study !

attendence is not mandatory but he has pop quizzes and hints at exact questions that will be on the test. if you do the homework the pop quizzes are very easy. and he has the best collection of shirts i have ever seen haha

Cake class. People always complain about it but when it comes down to it, you just have to pay attention and review what you learned in class. I did not do a single homework assignment, studied for about 10 hours total all semester, and got an A with ease. People who bash Bob Clark just dont pay attention. Great man, Highly recommended!

Terrible teacher, he knows the material but can not teach it or just doesn't care to teach it. Reads straight from the book and does not stress important material, that is up to you to figure out. Tests are hard, especially the final. Also have a project that takes a LOT of time. If you can take someon else for ACC 300 take them.
