Comment:

One of the best professors I have ever had. He is very kind and encouraging. Takes one step at a time so you can grasp the material. Always checks on us and asks us if we have any question. Amazing person as well. Felt blessed to have someone who actually cared .

Not bad just wished he reviewed the sections more thoroughly instead of always using powerpoints. His reviews are about 60% like the exams.

He says if you do the review and the homework you're going to do well in this class. In my opinion you're not even going to get a B. You would have to dig in the book and do the problems to understand the material. He is also a tough grader. Tests are about 70% like the review, and the other 30% are problems that he expects you to know how to do.

Not this guy. Teacher does not teach, its all connect math online. His one single contribution is adding physics/chemistry problems to reviews/exams that were definitely not in the homework/textbook. Never have I seen a teacher do so little and grade so harshly. If you take his online get ready to drive downtown for proctored exams.

Don't get this professor only because of the overall rating. Calculus did not work out for me. His lessons are truly just based on powerpoints that have information exactly like the book. Most of his lessons are not really explained, he may work the problems but expects from you to invest much time studying.

He's the best Math professor I've had in my 5+ classes of taking Math. His lectures are great and detailed, he also doesn't mind questions during the lesson. He also very approachable outside of class and will gladly answer questions. Take him!

Professor Brade is one of the nicest math teachers I've ever met. I struggle terribly with math and I don't like it but he taught in a way even I could understand. He works with you , and is available for conferences after class. Overall I enjoyed my experience with Professor Brade.

Through his class he is a caring teacher but tends to not fully explain the concepts. He came late for majority of the classes and when reviewing only went over 6 questions. As someone who struggles with math I recommend you to take someone else.

quick and to the point. didn't work for me. no extra credit opportunities, tests are similar to the review (not exact) , but when going over the review he skipped over problems assuming we knew how to do it. in my opinion, he tries to fit too much in the time frame

His MATH class is for ENGINEER MAJORS. Super hard! Tons of homework requires daily/hours of attention 2 online exams 1 proctor exam(web cam) and 1 on campus final. I had to drop before my GPA was ruined. Hes great for math and engineer majors

Excellent professor. Accessible during and outside of class, encourages participation and shows a genuine interest in his students. He also explains very well. Expect lots of homework and difficult tests though as studying and hard work are a must with Dr. Brade, but you will be happy you chose him. He truly cares and loves what he does.

Prof. Brade was simply amazing. He explained everything really well, and he didn't mind repeating for slow learners. His tests were fair, and all of his homework was on webassign and due at the end of the semester. His office is right next to the classroom and it's very easy to access him. This professor was awesome and i def recommend him.

Professor Brade is the best professor EVER. In MATH0409 he went through each chapter at a good pace and does not care if you ask questions along the way. He is very inspirational and believes in all his students. Do your homework, come to class and ask questions and you WILL pass.

This professor is hands down the best math teacher I have ever had. He cares that each one of his students understands the subject. He would even change tests for a later date if he feels his students need more practice. I hate math but he makes it easier to understand meaning i don't dread going to his class.

logically explains concepts and has a very cheerful and kind personality. responds to emails within 24 hours and responds to student questions in class but sometimes arrived late. one of the better math teachers I have had at HCC. you still have to come prepared though or else you will feel lost. lots of mymathlab homework to get you ready
