Very unorganized. She is CASL associate dean what a joke. She doesnt care, she doesnt know what she wants to do for the day. She announces exams like 2 days before the actual exam. Her review sessions are a joke. This teacher needs to stand behind a desk not a classroom. There was no diversity in health care, this was biochem dont take

as another person stated perfectly: exams are not an accurate reflection of what youre supposed to learn. memorize all of the chapters word for word, her slides that she gets from the website of the book dont help. asks very detailed questions on the exam so even if you read it all in the book, youll probably have forgotten this one minor detail

Nice & willing to answer questions but only if she likes them. If she doesn't, she'll snap back at you. This material is really not that hard, she just makes it that way. The exams aren't an accurate reflection of the info you're supposed to be learning. I never pay too much attention to these comments but take this seriously-She's a waste of time

This woman is vindictive and dishonest. Class started out well and I put in a great deal of effort. She continuously grades incorrectly and you cannot approach her with complaints. Write a letter & hope for the best. She had the damn audacity to take off more points incorrectly. I believe she dislikes males & gives A's based on a quota. Hateu Parso

VERY nice & caring,  seems to care if you learn the material and is fun but, she is VERY disorganized, but a genius. Its hard to read her mind and know what she wants, stay close to her when she mumbles off assignments or you'll miss them. I would recommend her, but just prepare to listen and write down everything she rattles off,

CRAZY. She's a nice lady, but that doesn't mean you should ever take her. She gives you so much work that's not necessary, so it stops you from studying for other classes, and doesn't tell you what's going to be on the test. She says to study everything, stay away.

A good lab instructor but a horrible lecturer... Studying the textbook is not enough sometimes. she is everywhere in the lectures so be prepared. it is really good idea to take genetics and cell bio before taking this course

Most wonderful professor, despite what has been said. She is super helpful, and applies lecture to real world to make them interesting. However, she does add work on top of work she has already given. The exams are easy if you go to the study sessions, and actually bother studying. She is a very good advisor as well.

one of the worst teachers in UMD! she's a flake and she expects you to memorize word for word. she taught our class the worst and we couldn't evaulate her because she was a tenure. DO NOT TAKE HER FOR UPPER LEVEL CLASSES EITHER!!!

It's not impossible, but not enjoyable either. Tests will average as C's, but there is probably only a total of 5 homework assignments over all. Though she is very nice and easily approachable, she is..."flighty" and tends to get off track while lecturing. If you can't do better, you'll manage, but if you can- find a different teacher.
