It's a shame that he never offered extra credit. I would prefer extra credit over having a "longer time to do homework" I am a person that does their homework ASAP, so extra credit is more meaningful to me as a student. He has no rubric and no clear grading criteria. It would be helpful for me as a student to get more feedback.

He gives no information at all. Doesnt state what hes looking for or a rubric of any kind. When he gives you a grade he doesnt explain why you got it. Theres no rhyme or reason as to it either.

this was suppose to be a quality one... he's very rude and doesn't respect students at all when someone ask a question to him he is extremely rude. never gives effort to help and doesn't give feedback. since he doesn't give feedback he also said that "other professors dont give feedback" when he's the only prof i had that didnt give feedback

I am not sure how this prof even has "gives good feedback," when he doesn't give any feedback at all. Even if you ask for feedback, his "feedback" is utterly useless and gives no insight. He doesn't care about the students at all. His directions are way too simple and he gives no rubrics. He also gives way too few assignments. No opportunity for EC

I took Professor Bradford for both English Comp 1 and 2. I thoroughly enjoyed his class overall. He is very relaxed on due dates (which can be a bit of a struggle) homework is mainly optional but will reflect on how much you participate in class, and he is a tough grader when it comes to writing assignments. I would definetly take his class again.

Bradford is an AMAZING professor. I always recommend every student that I talk to if they are going to take English to take Bradford ! One thing that amazes me is that I never look at the time to see how much time we have left. He's very entertaining he makes learning FUN.

Professor Bradford is an exceptional professor. He is engaging and always challenges you to do better. He is insightful and impactful. You wont regret taking any of his classes.

Such an amazing professor. English is not my favorite subject, but he made it enjoyable and easy. Do the work, and you will pass. He gives clear explanations of what is expected and is very helpful. He is passionate about what he does and thats what makes him a great professor.

Hes a great professor and an amazing person overall. He teaches very well and his discussions help with your overall understanding in the class. He helps make everyone comfortable in the class and makes it a stress-free learning environment. Hes great at helping with problems and explains everything in a clear, understanding way.

Bradford has to be one of the best professors I have ever had. He will work with you to make sure you understand how to properly write an essay. He breaks it down for you so its pretty much just fill in the blank. Only con is that he doesn't put in any grades until the end of the semester. However he does return your work so you know what you got.

Bradford is a very friendly. He will almost become more of your friend rather than your instructor. He is challenging though, and wants the best for his students. He is not the most organized with deadlines (They're all open) which was a struggle for me since I'm a structured person but overall I learned a lot in his Eng2 class and enjoyed it.

Brian is by far the most fun professor I have ever had. He was really welcoming from the beginning and he made a big effort to learn everyone's name ASAP. His lighthearted humor really makes for a welcoming class environment - a very stress-free zone.

Comment:

Bradford loves to think outside the box, even when it's not beneficial to do so. He's very eccentric causing class to sometimes feel like a stage performance rather than a lecture, which can enjoyable. In person, he's very helpful with any problems you have but can become confrontational quickly. Don't ask for help over email, you wont get it.

Comment:

Took his six week Comp 2 class in the summer. Each assignment involved tons of writing but all deadlines are fluid. He's VERY lax about grammar on papers, too, and you'll get an A if you present all your points clearly. Participation is key but you can skimp on it if you can get A's on everything else (I got a C+ on it and still got an A overall).
