If you want to listen to a prof talk for 75 minutes straight with literally no visual aids, take Coleman. I could not stand sitting through this class, it literally felt 3 hours long. The content could have been interesting but his teaching style was dreadful in my opinion. Also takes a long time to grade & hand back tests/quizzes

If you're at all socially and morally aware, avoid him. He laughed every time I asked him to clarify something, like I was an idiot, he made a joke about depression, he pushes students to share things when they change their mind, and he takes over your presentations before you can even get to the discussion at the end.

This is one of the couple classes that I can say I have not enjoyed in my college career. It was boring as could be, and Brian's radio voice made it so easy to drift off occasionally. I thought I was going to like this class but I guess philosophical perspective is not one that feels relevant to someone that is very practical.

Don’t expect an A.You have a ton of these useless online quizzes off of readings that are terribly confusing that he has yet to teach. Those quizzes are usually out of 5 points so if you miss 1 or 2 you’re screwed. He is extremely dry and boring&he laughs at his own jokes. He is technologically inept, slow to respond and doesn’t take criticism well

Dr. Coleman's a pretty relaxed teacher, albeit scatterbrained. Lectures are discussion format with minimal notes. There are not many total points, so make sure you don't miss quizzes or group work. Exams (2) are not cummulative. Keep up with the material and you should be fine.

Really study the lecture notes as the exams are based off of those. Easy A, if you acutally read the required material and stay current.

All of the tests are based off of the case studys and notes in class. Not a hard class at all if you bother to study for an hour or two before the tests. He is a very nice guy who bases his lectures on the interests of the class.

Lectures are interesting and he encourages students to challenge the ethical theories presented in the book (have reasons why you disagree). Grade is based off an in class presentation and three exams. The final exam is cumulative. If you have zero interest in the subject, you can skip class and get a good grade as long as you study.

Discussion is all the lectures. Few notes. Book is essential for studying. Easy to miss class as long as you read the chapters.Exams are fair.

Great teacher. Really nice guy, loves people that debate and talk about the readings. Loved this class, wasn't hard at all, very little work but the material was interesting. Never missed a class.

He is a good professor, but seems lazy about it. His lectures are really interesting and he always explains things well and very thoroughly. He often times seems disinterested in teaching, and his tests are weird. They are not that hard, but the questions at times are confusing. There is not much to the grade, so one screw up can hurt.

He has a very soothing radio voice, so if you're sleepy, expect him to knock you out. Otherwise, if you take good notes, listen to him carefully, and participate moderately, you'll score an A. I never cracked the book open and I'm getting an A, so you might want to save yourself some money. Great professor, man.

TERRIBLE! Sooo Boring. I can't listen to this man for over 5 minutes at a time. Test questions are so broad and besides 1 paper thats all your grade depends on!

I just took this class as an area requirement, but loved it! He is really an awesome professor. You can tell he is passionate about what he teaches. His style of explaining everything communicates all the important issues. He is very fun to listen to, I would recommend his class to anyone!

So I actually enjoyed this class, even though he does seem bored with the subject. I actually had a crush on him the whole time, lol, I think he looks like the guy from Drew Carey.

Pros: he has the temperment of a stoner, no homework, attendance basically not required, encourages student dialogues and opinion._____ Cons: seems to not want to be a teacher at all, boring, disinterested, and absolutly no charisma. Tests not as easy as you would think considering we do nothing of inportance in class "lectures."

He seemed to be totally uniterested in the subject. It was very difficult to get an A overall because quizzes are only out of 10 pts and you almost ALWAYS miss at least one. Lectures were bases exactly on readings. Come to class just so you can see his tremendous fashion sense. I think he had 3 shirts and maybe 2 ties. Hillarious looks.

I liked the way he taught the class. He made the students each take one of cases from the book and present it. It helped me understand better when I was hearing it from different people. Class was boring, but he is a good professor.
