I suggest to only take this class with him if it's absolutely necessary, RUN if possible. His tests are incredibly difficult and he gives you so much homework that it's hard to get the reading and studying done. He speaks out his notes so quickly, that it's hard to keep up, students often have to copy what they missed from other students.

Comment:

Only the strong survive this class and the weak die out. His dry sense of humor and sarcastic wit def made this class more interesting. Extra credit should be called "quiz" and I would recommend you do all his xtra credit work. He is fair and set's expectations thatare within reason.

Dr.Bennett starts the year very intimidating and maybe standoffish-note be there for lectures-important & are critical part of learning from him & book are very important as well.Get a tape recorder and lots of batteries-you'll need it. By the end of the semester he may not be a friend but you'll pass and be ready for real world. STUDY&you'll pass.

Awesome physiology professor! If u want to know physiology for nursing, he is the best teacher! He is so smart and that is why u will walk out knowing physiology not just memorizing it. His diagrams are still in my head 3years later. A challenge to get a B but worth it!

Pay attention! This material is deep. Read the book along with your notes, tests are not easy at all. Dr. Bennett has a great sense of humor and is very approachable. Read the book and your notes, show up to all the labs and you will do fine, he also gives extra credit to help with the exam grades, which is heaven sent!

Dr. Bennet is an a rare breed in CCRI. He is a brilliant physiologist and challenges each student to practically apply knowledge as opposed to the traditional memorize, regurgitate, repeat method. By far the most enjoyable and challenging course yet. Highly recommended to those who truly want to learn physiology.

i took him for physiology the class is pretty hard you need to take good notes and study,use a recorder. He is a nice guy, dry sense of humor but likes to make jokes. He calls on people a lot through the class qhich is nice. helps a lot with diagrams and also is very approachable

Dr. Bennet is an excellent professor! He draws many diagrams on the board for notes so make sure you leave yourself plenty of room! Tape recorders are handy. If you sit in the front row you WILL be picked on! By the end of the semester everyone will know your last name! You'll understand when you take his class! Best professor I have ever had! Good

A good professor with an offbeat sense of humor. Don't be intimidated by him and just take what he says with a grain of salt. He never takes attendance but if you show up for class it will really help on the tests, which are a little bit challenging.
