Great passionate teacher! I didn't think I would enjoy Old Testament class at all, but with Buzz I loved it! Out of all my generals this was one of the classes I learned the most.

SECT I took biblical archeology with dr. brookman in 94. He was and I think still is a remarkable teacher. Patient enough to let us learn/research on our own... But disciplined enough to keep us on track and focused.Thank you Buzz! Matt Waring

He's a hard teacher, but that's only because he makes you work and actually learn the material. He knows what he's talking about! You need to take at least one class with him. Somewhat intimidating, though. I highly respect Dr. Brookman and the work he has done to be the professor he is.

Buzz is a smart archeologist. He has a liberal theology. I did not like the way he made students feel dumb if they believed in a literal 7 day creation. Besides that I enjoyed his History of our B.C.

Seems to be well read & giften in his field. Great professor who could be teaching somewhere much better than NCU. NCU is much too narrow minded to be a good fit for a person who is actually educated like Dr. Brookman...I am transfering, Dr. Brookman was great though!

He's such a nice guy, and likes what he teaches. However, it didn't always keep me awake. And you really don't need the book if you study the textbook review on the computers.
