Prof Phillipe gives out the first part of every test to take home and use the book, she will check them if you ask her to.The 2nd part of tests are over your class notes. Extra credit is available in the semester. To fail this class a person would have to be lazy or just not care!

Prof Phillippe is a fantastic teacher. She was very thorough, always helpful and extremely easy going. I highly recommend all of her classes, but her Aspects of Death and Relationships and Family were by far the best.

Wonderful professor. Very smart and helpful. (Asked her for some detailed information and the next class she had it written out for me!) She let me borrow her book for the semester as the bookstore was out. Lets you call her until midnight. Tests are pretty easy, and in-class experiments are awesome! Very fun and entertaining. Highly recommended.

An amazing teacher. She makes her class nearly idiot proof to get an A in. She tells us moving and interesting stories to provoke our sympathies and get us involved in sociology. I HIGHLY recommend her!

Phillipe is a nice lady. She is serious about her work and even has special quests, which is her dressed up as someone. It's a cooler Sociology class than others. Take her!
