she's very helpful and clear. there's no disputing that. the crim law exam's emphasis was surprising, but didn't include anything for which we wouldn't reasonably be expected to be responsible. she tells you exactly what she expects to see on exams. just pay attention in class and you'll do fine.

Comment:
One of the worst teachers of all time. I learned more about remedies from taking Standen's Business law class first year than from an entire semester in her class. She wastes time and spends the entire class using stolen lectures from barbri authors. Bad Teacher.

Moves WAY too slowly in class, and her exams are completely out of left field. Very nice person, but her classes will not prepare you to take the bar, or make you a better lawyer.

This professor is very nice and very knowledgable. However, she does not use class time efficeintly and she wrote the worst exam that I have ever read.

She's very THOROUGH and clear, concise, mellow, a bit strict but also laid back, willing to laugh and share stories. Takes the time to make sure people understand the concepts, emphasizes them, very motivating to take notes and read.
