Comment:

This class went from hybrid to online during Covid- and I really appreciated the professor providing as much feedback as she did. I took it to fulfill a requirement and most everything was easy and straight forward. You will learn a lot of biology. Don't believe the naysayers.

I found Professor Babaian to be extremely unorganized, distracted, and confused. I couldn't communicate with her because she simply had no idea what I was talking about most times. She changed the course requirements constantly, all the way up to 2 days before the end of the semester. I only got an A because I spent countless hours reading the text

Comment:

Caryn is phenomenal. Before taking her course, I felt rather disillusioned by my college classes. Caryn was life changing for me though. She taught me how to engage with learning in a new way. Her content knowledge is so vast and she's very clear and beautifully expansive in lecture. You get to work and learn through hands on projects. Wonderful!

Possibly the worst prof Ive ever had. Shes a very nice woman, but so disorganized and her grading criteria is VERY unclear. She gives reviews for tests, but theres so many things on the exam that arent covered by the review. Such a mess. If it werent for COVID I wouldve probably failed.

I loved this anatomy class. It was the best online course ever, defintely original, not like the other online courses, which are made by the textbook company and don't match up with the exams. The professor was clearly responsible for this course and made it lots of fun. I would take it again if I could, lots of very cool information!

Had Bio 115 online, was the best course ever. Very organized and fair. The teacher always responded to emails immediately. Exams were fair, the content was interesting.

I have taken many online classes but this has been the most disorganized thus far. Modules and announcements were still up from previous semesters, things marked extra credit were indeed not extra credit but counted as a graded assignment. Extremely test heavy. Test on notes provided by her. No book . Only 50% of questions on test were from notes

Professor Babaian is very laid back and really helped me stay level headed through the class considering I knew nothing about Bio and was terrified. I recommend taking her. She is not the most organized and does not grade anything until the end of the semester so it's hard to know how you are doing except for exams.

She is a very nice lady but not a very good teacher, if you don't do well on her tests you won't do good in her class. Her reviews on what she tells to study doesn't cover the whole test. She will how ever drop one test. Multiple people in my class were struggling with her Tests and she did little to nothing to help. I would not take her again...

I had prof Babaian at two different colleges, took anatomy and BIO 101 with her. She is the only professor who cares that you do well. Take her- she is simply the best. Very clear, very helpful, very understanding- and she makes the content so easy to understand. It was so much fun I didn't feel stressed at all with exams.

She makes up definitions and then doesn't use her definition or the one in the book for the test. Went through the entire semester without Touching the book. Gave 13 sketches, four 2 page papers and wanted a 5 page research paper on top of it.

Caryn is literally the best professor I have had! I took her as a Biology lab professor at Temple University and loved every second! She is such a cool person and I literally want to be friends with her! She also is an amazing artist and stresses the important connection between science and art! LOVE HER!

I thought professor Babian's class on anatomy 115 was awesome. I never thought I would enjoy hearing boring anatomy made so interesting. If you have to take this class, by all means take her! She is funny, intense, cool, and makes you totally interested in anatomy- no other teacher like that. I did good and I stink at anatomy

Professor Babaian is a very cool professor. I took her in the fall and summer- both times were a blast. Had online version and was bored to tears. I can't believe they are the same course. Nature walks in bio 1 and 2 summer was great- the course totally fun. Take professor Babaian, she is the best teacher you will ever have. She rocks!

very interesting class, be ready to read a lot you have them every week. She is very helpful and enthusiastic. writing assignments are easy. 100-200 words or 450-550. Do the work and you will get an A. Group project is not too very hard. If you have to take INTG you should take her! 2 mandatory classes but the rest is online

I love Prof. Babaian's biology class. Had her for bio 101 in the summer-would not take this course with anyone else! Had an online version with another prof- so boring had to drop it. I want to take her bio102 at LBC or anywhere- take her! It made my summer never thought I would love bio so much. She's fair, reviews for exams, the best!

I love anatomy. She gives you a packet for the whole semester and then elaborates on it in class. No homework. 4-5 tests. Lots of extra credit. Easy if you pay attention. Final research paper and sketch book and a few movie reviews! Would take class again. not sure if she takes attendance but you need info from class. No book necessary but I bought

Absolutely amazing! She lets to you know everything thats going to be on the test so you know just what to expect. She made the class very interesting and very easy to learn the material. Definately would recommend her!
