Comment:

There is a ludicrous amount of reading expected in a ludicrous amount of time and he only tells you what he wanted in terms of writing assignments and quizzes after he's already graded your work. He expects you to read his mind. This class is an absolute joke and he does nothing to redeem that.

Comment:

Only O'Roark could make History hilarious, but he manages to make it engaging and fun. He's an honest professor, and you are graded by three tests and online quizzes over the chapter each week. As long as you keep up on your textbook reading and show up to class, you are golden, and you might get a laugh out of it too.

A great professor, makes me confident in my choice of being a history major. Funny, makes lectures enjoyable. The readings can be a lot but are important. Good at giving feedback on papers. Enjoyed his class.

In this course, he gave us reading to do between classes and quizzed us, first thing the next day. Not a serious problem, the assignments were clear, but I found it seemed backwards to read, quiz, then teach. learned more in this class than any other, but got by with a C.

This class was so much fun! He's a very engaging professor and is pretty funny. Though, I find history humor to be hilarious. He gives you essay questions in advance and if you show up for the review sessions the exams are a piece of cake. Never studied, got an A. Though, I'm just talented like that.

Really an awesome guy, but his tests I thought were kind of hard. He has you study and know five essay and then he picks one. I thought that was a little ridiculous. His lectures are very interesting and he is very laid back. Overall, I thought this class was not too bad.

I was in the honors portion of this class, and I loved going to this class. Although attendance isn't mandatory, you will miss a lot if you miss a day. His class was always so entertaining and he relates really well with the students and teaches in a way everyone understands. He is like Indiana Jones!

Hes the best professor for lecture ever;great humor makes the class very interesting. Of course incredibly knowledgeable. He is very funny, but does not just hand out good grades! I loved class:bummed it ends soon.&Yes,he has attractive qualities,but he also has traveled the world, has Ph.D.& is older(hot!)& still single! I think he might know ;)

very good teacher, he makes the class fun and has a great sense of humor. Now i will say you can not slack off in this class he is an extremely hard grader but you can tell its because he knows the subject so well and yes he is pretty cute lol for a professor.

This class is really hard and takes a lot of work, exspecilly if you do not like history. He is a really good teacher that knows what he is taking about. If you are looking for easy history credits this is not the class for you, but if u like history and want to learn more in an exciting way take him.

The key to passing is going to every class. It's like waking up to go to a stand-up comedy show. We always lost track of time out of pure enjoyment! You won't be watching the clock in his classes.

I took Dr. O'Roark's online class and it was extremely straightforward and well structured! Although I recommend his online class, I had the pleasure of attending his lecture and I must say his lectures are awesome! Dr. O'Roark is a superb educator!
