I had Dr. Grattan for 301 and he tried to make a tough course as easy as possible. He is very organized and follows the syllabus. There is a good amount of homework but that only helps you understand the material better.

Comment:

Dr. Grattan is a great professor. He is always available outside of class and is willing to help at all times even emailing on the weekends. This is a very tough class and it will really challenge you but Dr. Grattan does a great job of explaining the information.

He's the best choice for organic. There are several problem sets and quizzes, but they force you to practice and only help you in the long run if you take them seriously. He also send out practice tests and practice quizzes every time.

Had him for Organic I and II, and the courses were hard and challenging. The professor does really well at trying to explain the materials in the best way. Make sure you do not fall behind, get help as soon as possible. The professor is very helpful.

Things change. He is a good professor teaching difficult material but when 75% of the class has to take it again something is wrong. Yes, I know it's Organic Chemistry. The good grades were made by repeat students.Curves don't happen and they should.If you take Organic be ready to eat, drink, sleep, and breathe it or fail.

Great prof. and he is always ready to help his students. He always treats us like we are people to and tries to build a relationship with us. He explains everything until everyone gets it. If you have to take a chemistry course take him, his is the best.
