Pretty nice. Will take an hour to cover a 15 minute topic. Online quizzes are a pain. The lab quizzes are terrible. However, she offers a lot of extra credit on her tests which was fantastic.

Prof. Green was (she is retiring) a terrific professor. She cares about her students and tries to get them involved. She gives you every chance to do well in her class including generous extra-credit opportunities.

Hard to understand her french accent, lots of online work which is very tedious, but she is very generous with bonus point on tests

Her lectures are alright, and exams have a LOT of extra credit you can earn during a group retake after the individual exams are over. Lab is almost impossible though. Very doable class, but know that the lab is going to stress you unlike any other lab you've taken before. Speak up during lecture so she knows you and things will get a lot easier.

She wants you to succeed. She gives individual attention, asks for feedback, gives extra credit, encourages campus involvement, and is exactly the professor us students taking the "easy lab" need. Yes, I've failed quizzes and got a D on an exam (w/o the extra credit). However, I recieved a 100 in the class and gained a great deal of academic skill.

No elaboration on topics discussed, gives an attitude when questions are asked or when the wrong answer is said. Extremely lecture heavy and boring.

Terrible. Do not take. Unclear directions, the accent thing is fine. I'm sure if you dedicate all your time to reading the book you will do good in the class but then what's the point of going to class??? The exams also came straight from the book, so study your book not her powerpoints. She's nice and all but not a good teacher.

Nice person outside of classrooms. Expect you to know everything before class starts. Makes it impossible to have above a C+ if you aren't familiar with everything. Accent is okay to understand. Would not recommend her for someone who is trying to get into the nursing program or any kind of science degree. If you can switch professors.

Course is very difficult, even for someone who has good background knowledge in this subject. Makes the lectures and pre lab lectures VERY boring and long. Gives multiple quizzes every week and many lab practicals on top of the basic exams. Hard to get your expected grade, but not impossible. Would recommend taking the course with a diff professor

Had her for lab. HORRIBLE. She's a nice person but she wasn't very helpful. She makes you do a quiz every week before lab so be prepared and TURN IN YOUR LAB MANUAL!!!!!! Spent half of lab talking for no reason.

Don't do it. This was the most stressed out and upset I've ever been in a class and I worked HARD. Her accent is difficult to understand, very disorganized, very annoyingly hard for a gen-ed lab course, especially if you are not strong in the science field. I didn't think I needed to be since its 1102 but I was wrong. Don't do it.

I found this class relatively easy. She does have an accent, but I can understand her fine, and she will repeat something or go into more detail if someone in class seems unsure. She will definitely give you extra help if you ask for it. The lab manual is absolutely necessary, but you can get away without the text book if you read the PowerPoints.

She's not a bad teacher, but be prepared to work very hard in this class to get a good grade. You have to read the book, do the homework, attend class, and do ALL the assignments in order to actually learn something. She's not a horrible teacher, but she won't give you an A just for showing up. Work hard and she won't let you fail.

She's a horrible teacher! Avoid her at all costs I mean it! I barely passed with a C! And I went to every class and did all the quizzes and her accent makes it hard to understand her!

What you have to know about Professor Green is she takes all of her questions off of Mastering Bio...so DO THE QUIZZES. I barely read the book, took notes in class, and constantly re-took Mastering Bio quizzes. AND try to make a connection...this really helped and she's really nice.

Accent makes things way more difficult than they need to be. very disorganized, even her syllabus is scattered. however you can still succeed in the class. put 90% of your effort into the service learning project. it's dumb, but it's an EFFORT grade. so just try and youll get an A. my test/quiz lab grade was a C- and i still finished w/ a B+

This woman is very hard to understand due to her thick french accent. Second, she's very liberal and will force her views on you whether you want to hear them or not. She has no organizational skills, does not follow a syllabus and while drive you nuts with her overreliance on HuskyCT. Take a course with her only if you have time to waste.
