Cindy is one of my favorite professors because of her outgoing personality. She's SO personable towards the students and is very nice. I had her for intro to CO-OP and she was an easy grader. Always brightened my day to be in her class, 10/10 wish I could have her again

You will learn a lot, but she is not a very nice person. She is rude, and looks forward to the opportunity to call people out on just about anything. She never tried to call me out personally, but the way she treated other students was disrespectful. She was also unprofessional, calling a group of people "retarded" in front of my class. RUDE.

A great professor! Clear, entertaining, and knowledgable. Encourages questions and group discussion. For her honors classes, most homework is online using Blackboard or the e-text. I plan on taking ARTH112H with her next quarter!

She is a good lecturer and it's not hard to do well in her class, but as a person and as a professor I find her rude, harsh and MEAN. She yelled and cursed at students who had fallen asleep in a (huge) class and she responded rudely to me in an e-mail where I was nothing but polite. I will continue art history classes with a different professor.

Comment:

She definitely has enthusiasm, but lacks knowledge in history. It is an art history course. Those seeking for the requirement would be satisfied being tested over images and some culture. The course isn't a blow-off, but you won't learn much from the class either. I would highly recommend taking another professor!

I don't care that I got a good grade-this professor is awful. To the freshmen and non-majors who don't know any better she may seem great but she's an idiot. She spewed wrong information. For a real art history class check out Classics.

Her exams are very difficult, they are mostly image based but just knowing the title and artist will not get you anywhere.. She likes to pick out the fine little details from within the text. You HAVE to read because she will not teach you anything in class that will be on the exam. If you study very well you can get an A or B.

I love this professor she is passionate, enthusiastic about what she teaches and she is humorous and talks clearly and she goes by the book so if you read and then go to class you will not be confused. Also she posts all the images you need to know for the tests and makes it pretty obvious what to study. I love going to her class!!

I love her! I am taking ARTH 113 right now. She can be really cooky, but she cracks me up. I love how sarcastic she is. She is always willing to answer questions and encourages them. As long as you aren't disrespectful (texting in class, talking, sleeping, late work, etc), you'll love her too. She definitely doesn't put up with anything!

Cindy is one of the greatest professors here at UC. I truly miss her lectures and highly recommend you take her! If you are not an Art major, and have no interest in art whatsoever...one of two things will happen to you. 1) You will still hate art afterwards because you're close-minded OR 2)you will walk away with a greater understanding. TAKE HER!
