Professor Shelton is one of the most incredible teachers I've ever had. I was only at ACTC for a year but took 2 classes with her, and even though the work is really difficult at times and I had to work my butt off to do well, she's so helpful and dedicated to her students. I recommend Professor Shelton to everyone - you'll love her class!!!

She's AWESOME! Math has always been my worst subject but she helped me all semester to pass, after my final I had a 67% in the class but she bumped me up to a C because she seen how hard I worked all semester. Best Math teacher at ACTC, wouldn't have passed that level of math without her help!

Cindy is a great, tough professor. In my opinion, she saved me from being scared of math. Currently in my sophomore year (took her my freshman fall semester) taking Calculus 2, and have changed my major to Mechanical Engineering. She made me love math. Such a great professor and person.

I came to community college after graduating local university to get through some tough subjects for me with some passionate, caring instructors. Cindy is that professor. Not only will you enjoy her clear instruction, but you will feel that you truly gained a friend; one who REALLY wants you to succeed and will do ANYTHING to facilitate that.

Mrs. Shelton is God's gift to math! If you are not amazing with math, this is the professor for you. She inspires you, engages you, and is there for you every step of the way. She is reasonable, and structures the class in an adaptive way to enable you to succeed. If you put forth even 80% effort, you will make it. She is also smoking hot :)

Great teacher, but very fast paced. She goes in such detail that it is confusing at times but it's nice to see each step broken down. Tests were tough but what she said was on the test was on it!

Although she seems like a very nice lady, she moves SO fast. We go over a section or two a day It's hard to keep up with her. If you're someone who has a hard time understanding math, like me, you will have to suffer through. Along with that, she is really boring & lectures nonstop.

Cindy Shelton is one of the best teachers I have ever had. Being a person who doesn't understand math very well, Cindy went above and beyond her call of duty as a teacher to help me learn the material. She would tutor me herself, on days she didn't have to be there. A+ to a great teacher!
