Epic fail. The prof lectured to us like we were listening to a book on tape. No homework was assigned to validate our knowledge, just 3 hard tests covering 6 chapters each comprised the entire grade. If regurgitating material as printed in the book is the only criteria necessary to pass Finance 1, Mission please just make this an online class.

Rush is one of the worse teahcers on the face of the earth. i advice every student not to take his class. he humilates you in front of class if you try to ask him a simple question, he's the #1 boring teacher.

Professor Rush is easily one of the worst professors I've had the misfortune of having. His lectures are unnaturally boring. As for his interaction with his students, forget about it. What little chance there is to participate in class is simply an opportunity to berate his students, most often in a smug manner.

he does not answer all of the questions correctly. i would ask him question from the book and he would completely deviate from the question. it's easier to learn from the book. i am so bored in his class that i watched people around me: their heads are either down or their eyelids are closing.

He is like Bill Cosby without the humor. Translation, long-winded and boring with an air of superiority. Tests are very tough, all questions are hypothetical legal situations that you must determine the outcome. Avoid like the plague, take another instructor. I studied hard and barely passed with a C.

DO NOT TAKE BUSINESS LAW WITH RUSH!! Lectures are straight from the book (which he has memorized); makes students feel stupid when asking a simple question; doesn't attempt to make class interesting; doesn't try to encourage students to do better or relate to them at a personal level; the questions on his tests are vague/confusing...TERRIBLE!

I agree with everyone-AVOID him like the plague-You will not learn-He is hard to understand-Every other phrase of his lectures is filled with repetitive jargon like "the thing of the matter is"-Reading the book is easier-Says he's one of the original founders-LAMC should look into this as it is demeaning to the college-I got an A & B respectively.

This is the worst professor I have ever had. You can never ask him any questions because he will humiliate you. His test are crap. He does not grade fairly and you cannot contest his answers because he thinks that he is always right even if you prove him wrong.

Professor Rush is not only very unhelpful and unclear, but he is also very unwilling to listen to his students and unable to see things from their points of view. Prof. Rush is also very hostile and belittling when confronted with any type of question discouraging students from seeking any further comprehension of the subject.

Lectures are great. Watchout! the test are very hard and the answers are HIS Opinion! Things that he didn't cover were on the test. He is very distant. You CAN NOT ask him a question and get a straight answer.
