I read all the reviews and i have to say, this guy cares about Students. He expects students to act like college students, not high school children. He assigns a lot of Homework because (as I realized) the more you work on the material the easier the hard subject comes to you. I personally liked his relating of Golf as it made him human to me.

Positives: He is nice, will try to help you, but most-likely confuse you at the same time when you ask question. Negatives: Picks on people in class to answer questions and he does not explain material enough for you to comprehend it, you will probably need to use outside sources to get things better, like additional books and youtube lectures.

He's the best teacher ever! He makes learning Accounting fun. He gives u alot of hw but at least he bases his tests on the hw you do. I highly recommend Bommer!

Different kind of teaching. Helpful but misses class a lot. Answers any questions. Only 3 tests one assignment and 1 extra credit. Lots of homework and reading but he doesnt collect it instead he picks on you in class to answer the questions randomly. Nice guy. Enjoyed the class.

Acctg 1 is very time-consuming and something that you pretty much have to learn on your own and the best way is to practice. Prof Bommer gives a quick intro and is there to help with any questions. He may seem unclear and you may think he goes way too fast. He gives a lot of homework but it is necessary. Ask Questions! He's cool.

He is not hard, but he is not easy either. If you have a true interest in this class then you should have no problem. A lot of homework is required to learn the material no matter who teaches it. Just keep your head up in the class and he will reward you.

Come to class, pay attention, do the homework. He forces you to do the HW bc he picks on people randomly to answer HW problems, but it def. helps with studying! 11 tests - 1 test/chapter. No final. I personally thought he was a good teacher. I got an A knowing I learned a lot from this class.

What can you say about a guy who just seems to be waiting for his retirement. He often sounded bored with the material, which is understandable given that he's probably taught it for years. This guy was a definite turn off!
