age if def getting to him. he is veryyyyy old! he forgets a lot and always reschedules tests. going to class is waste except on review days. he will tell you what topics are on the test on the day of review. he also randomly takes attendance, so going to class will help you

He's old school, retired marine, great personality. Very amusing in class, but if you chatter, text or your phone rings in class, he WILL go off on you... I just chalk it up to being old school. He does not give notes, but does a review before every test but sometimes he tests on stuff that he says he won't test on. watch out and read the book!

Coombe is the ideal professor. He knows his stuff. Study and do the readings and you shouldnt have a problem with his tests. Its not a 'booze and cruise' class, but he makes a big effort to accomidate his students, but dont actively take advantage of it.
