Mr. Policastro knows his stuff which is what made the class interesting. I had him every wednesday for a 3 hour class and never got bored. When he gives you the pages to read, you MUST read! A lot of the questions on the exams come from the reading and some of the multiple choice in the book. Studying is a must in his class!

He's a bit tough, but he's a great teacher. You have to read the book and take notes or you will definitely do horrible. MyPsychLab is a great resource for test preparation, so use that.

He is definitely a hard teacher, but he is a true college teacher. He does not make it easy like most community college professors. As long as you show up to class, pay attention and read/study the text he tells you to, you will pass the tests. A lot of information to learn, but overall a good understanding compassionate teacher!

this class was a joke! It was so HARD! i studied for like 500 hours and still got a C. The movie project was my only saving grace. The final was like we were professionals though. Had to look at DSM and diagnose paitents. What the hell. Get on his good side and beg for help. Find a smart friend to study with

Mr. Policastro was not what everyone else is saying. The material he covered in class was barly ever in the text, it all came from his personal life experiences. I studied my butt off and the test were hard. Take the class to have your own opion of him.

He's laid back and pretty cool. His tests arent that hard, if you study for 5 hours you should get an A or B. 11 geniuses in my class failed his last test, we bargained with him to give us the essay question before the test. He agreed under the condition that he would grade more strictly.

I thought that he was really great teacher, he kinda jumped around the book, but he would stop and explain anything as long as you asked. His tests werent the easiest but if you studyied you would do fine. Great job, Mr. P
