Comment:

For course that's boring (except for mat/child) she makes it tolerable. Hard essay marker, know your APA well! Provides a lot of anecdotes. If she doesn't know how to teach it well, it won't be tested. Always answered emails in a timely manner. Had junk food parties at end of term!

Corinne is an amazing professor. She really makes the content come to life in this course. Follow her powerpoints and you wont need to read the textbook at all. She is very thorough and is always there to help. She is available after hours as well if needed. Know your APA and if you are unsure about the essay, ask questions. She is overall AMAZING

At first you may think what is happening but you'll learn to see the class isn't so bad. It's all about critical thinking so take advantage of participating in lectures. She can be hilarious. Become familiar with how she analyzes issues as it will be useful for exams. For the essay, double check your APA and talk to her about your topic.

She's nice and funny but the content is so dumb sometimes it is just kind of dull. Not her fault but it makes the class drag on. Also-- she is very passionate, which is nice/good BUT is sometimes negative because it makes it uncomfortable to voice any viewpoints/opinions that are not hers. She has clear judgements/views & expects you think the same

I am giving you the realest rating. She is actually the sweetest and nicest profs I have ever met, however, in her lectures, she talks more about everything else rather than the actual content. In regards to assignments and especially exams, she gives very vague and unhelpful info. Shes an amazing person, but as a teacher not so much.

Great prof! She understands what students are going through. Cares about what students say. Wants to see students succeed. You will need to work hard for that A, but it is achievable! Textbook hardly used, ppts have all the necessary content. She tells LOTS of personal stories in class which makes the content (theory) more realistic. 100% Reccomend

I LOVE Corinne. She is the most wonderful person I've encountered in Ryerson nursing. She brings Theory to life and makes the class interesting. She's an excellent teacher and ally. She will advocate with you and for you whenever she can. I can't even begin to explain how much of a difference Corinne has made in my nursing career. Love her so much.

Corinne is amazing! She explains everything so that it makes perfect sense and uses real life examples to help everything stick. She genuinely cares about her students and wants us to succeed. At the beginning of the semester, she noticed that we were not very engaged and we compromised and changed the class dynamic to facilitate engagement. Thanks

I loved Corinne! Not a fan of community nursing, but she made it interesting and enjoyable! She wants her students to do well. Marking wise; she is fair. So you have to work for that A, which is understandable! So kind, so thoughtful. I would take another class with Corinne if I could. I came to every class, she really helped explain the content!

She made the class really interesting and she was extremely helpful. She'll do her best to help you in any way she can. I found that class was enjoyable because of her. She's a fair marker and you don't need to show up to class to pass. Great prof.

Comment:

Corinne has made third year the best year in nursing school. She listens to her students, and she thinks "outside of the box" to get her students to participate in class. I really enjoyed my third year. Corinne has made this course exciting. Most of us want to pursue community nursing because of her course. Thanks Corinne.

Corinne is the best professor that I had ever in Ryerson. She really wants the students to learn and would never fail anyone unless the students decided themselves to. She always listen to students and stands on students's side. I was very lucky to have her as my theory professor!
