Comment:

She may be the hardest working professor I've ever had. Since you turn in handwritten homework instead of webassign she spends a ton of time reviewing and providing feedback. Her homework is difficult but that means you're not surprised on test day but rather prepared. Sometimes moves a little too quickly but despite getting a B I loved the class.

Comment:

Out of all the math teachers I've had in my life, Dr. Pulley is by far the best. She cares for everyone and has no problem answering any questions you have, no mater how complex or simplistic it may be. That being said, she is a hit or miss to others. She is a tough grader and doesn't accept any late homework. Also, don't expect to get extra credit

She likes the students that know their stuff over the students that don't already know the material. She was always rude with those that asked "dumb" questions as she would put it as. She grades VERY difficult. She takes off a lot of points over unnecessary reasons. She's even rude and not helpful during her office hours.

I think she was an amazing calc teacher. I transferred schools and she prepared me so well for calc 3. Honestly, she is an very hard grader but she wants to make sure you know the material and know how to apply it. Show up to class, take notes, ask questions, and know that if you put in the hard work in her class, it will pay off!

Shes not bad at teaching. The thing that turns me off about her is her weird policies. I had to miss class the week before spring break because my cousin was getting married. My other teachers were understanding and let me makeup my tests beforehand. Not her. I had to eat a zero on that test. She would have a better review if that didnt happen

She really makes you understand the material. I do recommend her if u actually want to know calc. There is a lot of homework but it helps you understand the material. She is very nice and respected. I would take her again.

Dr. Pulley can be tough sometimes, but it is only because she cares. She assigns a lot of homework and expects you to read the book, and it really does help, especially if you need to get your grade up from a bad quiz or test. An overall incredibly smart person, and a very good instructor.

She's probably the best math teacher I've ever had. I look forward to taking 146 with her because she has a dantastic teaching style and knows her stuff. Yes, she can be an ass, but she just wants you to succeed and wants to help, you just gotta toughen up and actually talk to her. Yes, the class is hard, but calculus is always hard.

She has been by far the best math teacher I have ever taken. She makes sure that students get the material and she's always willing to help outside of class. Dr. Pulley isn't a teacher who show's up just to teach, she genuinely cares about her students and wants them to do well. Assessments are every other week, so be prepared to study.

Dr. Pulley is an amazing teacher. Everything on test and quizzes you will have seen before. She gives homework almost every night but you will get a better understanding of the class. Test and quizzes are every Friday and you need to attend every class. She is very flexible to meet with outside of class as well.

There's a lot of quizzes/tests/homework so you have a good opportunity to make up your grade. She's kind of funny, but also says some backhanded things to students. You can tell she cares about the material and expects you to study. Her office hours are accessible, but if she doesn't like you she'll kind of rush you out. Overall, I liked her a lot.

Take her with a grain of salt. I hated her for the first two months, but she makes you learn and knows what she is talking about. If you skip, that's on you and she makes it known. If you actually want to understand Calculus, take her. She's honestly the best math teacher I have ever had. She's intense, but don't be afraid to ask questions.

Dr. Pulley was very rude and made many of her students uncomfortable to ask questions. She poorly answered questions, and her office hours are no help at all. I got an A in calculus in high school, and a C in her class. She takes off stupid points on tests, regardless if you got the correct answer. AVOID HER. Take Roger Day.

DO ALL OF YOUR HOMEWORK! Homework points add up really fast. I truly believe that you have to earn the grade you want in this class. If you really want the A, you have to put in the extra hours of work to do it. This is not a slack off and just show up kind of teacher.

Hard grader. Make sure you know the material. You cant slack off and get a B, I got a 103% in Calc I with Dr Day (great teacher). I thought I could take it a little easier but I ended up with my first C. Still a good teacher, I dont blame her, just be prepared for a tough semester.

Spends too much time on names (2 classes); Tells class how some students won't pass bc they skipped a class; Talks down to you when you ask a question; Has a pop quiz if 2+ students have unexcused absences that day so that they cannot make it up; Spends a lot of her into to the class saying how impossible it is to pass; Gives too many opinions

She is pretty difficult. Do not slack off on homework because those points add up a lot. She really cares about what she does and wants her students to ask her for help. If you do not show up to class, she will openly make fun of you in front of all of the other students. Really, just don't get on her bad side and study and you should be fine.

Mrs Pulley was a good teacher who goes through the material at a pace that the students can handle. if you understand math, then you are going get a good if you do the homework. make sure you go to class or else you wont pass for sure. overall pretty good teacher compared to all of the other calc teachers.

She is one of the toughest teachers I had at ISU. You should be prepared to work hard and get a bad grade on homework even if you've tried your hardest. She is picky and makes you feel bad if you do not understand something. Always corrects your grammar in and out of class.
