Loved him. He knows that non-science majors are taking the class and tries to make it easy for everyone. Test are ok but he won't let you leave class unless all of your lab questions are correct.

Best professor! He would basically do the labs for you if you asked or help and always explained everything until you understood it. Such an easy A.

I didn't find this class to be as bad as I thought that it would be. There are only 3 tests and a final. I did not do too well on the tests but my lab grade was an A which basically got me a B in the class. If you take Visconti just be sure to show up for class and show him that you are willing to put in a little effort.

He's a nice guy and would make a great professor if he taught another subject. Organic Chemistry is absolutely horrible. Rely on your textbook because his lectures are a waste of time.

the labs are easy only if you ask him a hundred questions. he is terrible at explaining the labs and they have nothing to do with what you learn in class. you need to read, read, read, read. otherwise you will not do well at all. our class averages were extremley low.

our ending class ave is 69; he does not curve or give study sheets ever! too much material! labs are complicated & barely relative to work in class /text. gives enough work 2 B a 4 credit course; it's only 3. tests are hard as hell! i do not advise it unless you are a sci major or willing to spend the bulk of your study time on this class.

I've found this course extremely difficult to keep up with. You MUST read the book (and grasp the concepts!) THE FIRST CLASS TEST AVE WAS 63!! If you don't have a passion or talent for math formulas, chem, physics, think hard before enrolling. The volume and density of the material is overwhelming. An A? You must be totally dedicated to study!

Makes the class seem so easy and then gives you ridiculouly hard tests. I would not take him again. Not a lot of work but really hard to understand him if you don't know what you're doing already

I hate science and he doesn't make me like it anymore. He goes through the notes very fast. It's not that it's a hard class, but he makes it confusing at times. Make sure you read the text book.

Wonderful person, very dedicated and if you have a problem all he asks is that you are mature enough to ask -- he goes out of his way to explain as many times as it takes to understand. Lovable, just doesn't show it.

Very hard class, you are one of the very few if you get an A- or A in this class...material is very difficult and he thinks that every test is so easy when the majority of the class gets 40s and 50s.
