David was hands-down my favorite teacher at Bennington. His classes were lecture-based, but he was so interesting to listen to. His personal anecdotes about his experience in the field of psychology were helpful and inspirational. Assigned a lot of long readings, but they were mostly interesting. Majority of grading is based on three papers.

Comment:

Anderegg is a very sweet guy with a great, rather devilish sense of humor. As he is a practicing psychoanalyst, his views tend to be a little bit out of fashion and are not for everybody. However, he is not a prick and he's fun to listen to. The class is so/so for me but that's a matter of taste that has nothing to do with David. A stand-up fellow.

david anderegg is mr. hot pants sexy shirt, in my world. but on a serious note, he is an extremely intellegent and articulate professor from whom i think i could learn very much. i highly reccomend taking a class with him or at least having a conversation. he's a wonderful man.

David's warm understanding and encouraging demeanor, extensive knowledge, infinite wisdom and motivating support allow his students to blossom and thrive in their own way. David approaches the subject from all sides and is always open to input. His class discussions are provocative and his humorous and laid back attitude make every day enjoyable.

I hated Bennington but really enjoyed normality and abnormality. He's very knowledgeable and has lots of great stories. He mostly focuses on Freud and the earlier psychologists, so don't take him if you're only interested in the newer stuff.

He Rocks! Get's a tad offtrack in class with his anecdotes but overall a great teacher & a fun class. Do the reading and you will be up to speed, and meet for the extra help. One of Bennington's more qualified teachers.

David's great, though he can be kinda spacey sometimes. He's very good if you go to him for help, but you have to go to him, he won't ask you. I had him for Normality and Abnormality my first term and it was one of my favorite classes.

Interesting lectures. Charismatic personality. Really bad at facilitating discussions. Doesn't have high expectations for students. Sometimes treats students like they're burdensome. Very, very difficult to meet with. Reasonable workload.
