Professor Brackett is an amazing professor. His lectures are always entertaining and he has a great sense of humour. His grading criteria is clear and extremely fair. He's definitely one of the better history professors that McGill has to offer.

I was pretty skeptical of this class at first, fearing that it was a slacker course.. but I feel like I actually learned something, and it was enjoyable as well. The text was great and provided a new, critical approach to pop culture we thought we knew.. great elective class to take, and entertaining prof.. certainly recommended!!

Awesome prof with a very nebbish sense of humour, which makes him all the more endearing. He really hits his stride in his Pop music class, however I also had him for Art of Listening, throughout which he was VERYgrumpy. How can this be the same guy?
