Comment:

The absolute best professor on the planet. He is great at understanding other obligations you may have going on. He's been such a great supporter for all of us, students, through this whole pandemic. I have had him for 2 semesters and I wish I could've had him for more. He's very laid back and just an overall nice guy. Best professor at SVSU.

Comment:

If a laid back learning atmosphere is your thing, you will like his class. Not a hard grader at all, assignments are quite easy. Sometimes the lack of structure makes things get complicated, and he is not the best with replying to emails. However, Dr. Cline is a nice guy and will help you with any situation you might be in.

The best professor in the COE hands down. Treats students in a very respectable manner and will help you if you're in a spot. Not good with emails, just go straight to his office. Showed us what science should look like in the elementary setting. Hands on in class activities that are fun and educational. Thanks Dr. Cline!!

Dr. Kline is fantastic. He is a complete constructivist and teaches his class according to that theory. Be prepared to do a lot of group work and to learn. No book required!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hated science when I first walked into Dr. Cline's class, but I left knowing ways I could enjoy it myself and enjoy teaching it. Dr. Cline was so helpful, encouraging, and laid back. We had to do a couple of science demonstrations along with our field work, but the load wasn't bad at all. I learned so much about science in this class!

Dr. Cline was one of the nicest professors I've ever had. He gives you a lot of demonstration ideas as well as other tools to help you teach. You also have to create lesson plans to teach in the field (so I have NO idea what the people previous were talking about). He makes class fun and it's hard to fail. Take him if you can!

Dr. Cline was an amazing teacher. He taught us how to think outside the box as well has how to relate things back to benchmarks and standards. I was able to leave the class knowing that I had at least a couple of ideas to take with me into clinical experience and first year teaching.

Dr. Cline is a great professor, he is real easy-going and is not a hard grader. We barely used the text book, maybe twice. I can honestly say that I enjoyed going to his class and knew it would be a relaxing atmosphere. You're out of your mind if you dislike him or his class!

Dr. Cline was a very interesting professor. I enjoyed the science activities that we learned about in class. It is not all about the book. He takes you outside the box and lets us explore. It was a very interesting class and I would take Dr. Cline again if I could.

This class was fun. However, I would have liked to walk away with lesson plans that relate to the standards and benchmarks (rather than quick and cutesy activities) that I could use during student teaching and first year of teaching. He is easy, but expected more out of the class. He is just a big kid at heart.

I enjoyed going to class. Show up and go to field an easy A. I never liked science before because all it was is facts shoved into your head. He makes it engaging for everyone. Just dont say science sucks cuz he will come unglued.lol He's like a big kid and likes to participate in everyones demos. fun class or I should I say engaging.

The BEST teacher you will ever have. He's very laidback and I actually looked forward to the class because we had so much fun. He understands that teaching and science isn't all about cramming facts into your head and testing it. He gives strategies and resources for teaching it instead. I've never heard anyone say they don't like him. TAKE HIM!
