I am trying to find this Professor and thank him for the great class he taught in 1980. I never forgot him, or his very interesting lectures. He gave me my first real education. How little I really knew about our Country and its formation. I will never forget they day Ronald Reagan was elected he showed up to class with a black armband.

Took online. Excellent course but professor was non-responsive to emails from the class regarding assignments. Details weren't posted when he said, so we were left in the dark most of the time. He extended deadlines to make it up to us, but we still had to guess on what to write & how to study for exams. I got an A but it was very stressful.

took online class and would not recommend it. i took him bc of the great reviews but he made no contact with students and didnt post grades on any of your posts you made. didnt know when things were due and didnt give any information about what exams would be over do not take online! awful

I've had David Wilson twice. He's the nicest little old man on campus. You can tell he really cares about his students. I can say that if you have the opportunity to have him as a professor do. He doesn't teach every semester. So that can make getting into one of his classes harder.

Great teacher..if you want to be a professor in the future, no matter what major..take a class fomr him..they are challenging, however you`ll see what a REAL professor who cares for his students is like, and what A REAL person is..the best on campus, open to all ideas..un biased..i have gotten everything from a b- to an a in his classes, great man

had him many years ago in 2001 for poly sci 2620 (writing intense). glad to see he is still a campus favorite. at one point or another he was awarded the master teacher award and teacher of the year at UT once or twice. he truly enjoys teaching and knows his stuff.
