I HATE math but this was my favorite class this semester. We go over hw together. She is amazing I wish she taught a college algebra class cause I would take it in a heartbeat. She really cares for her students this one time I was sick and wasnt feeling well and she noticed and made sure I got the notes and the homework before sending me home.

Comment:

Shes okay. If you show up and take notes, this class should be an easy A. Sometimes she gets confused and messes up problems which can confuse people if youre not understanding the material. Overall though, this class is really easy and i would take it again.

More often than not she seemed to be agitated & unapproachable. Students would ask her to slow down as this isnt a college-level math class and she would continue at the same pace. She would explain how to work problems in different ways before we even understood the previous one. multiple students in my class either dropped or took their F.

she was very rude to students when they asked questions/ in general , not very forgiving about anything . only took grades off of tests . was little help when she was asked to further explain during class , would not take her again if my life depended on it would rate zero if i could

She's mean, super mean. She cannot teach at all , she makes mistakes in her own work. she over works her students. she reviews things we dont use on test . DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS YOU WILL REGRET IT . shes BORING. SHE CANT TEACH

McKay was just okay. She wasn't terrible but she wasn't great either. I did not like some of the ways she explained things and she makes several mistakes. She wasn't super friendly or approachable and was often mean at times due to personal issues. I passed just fine because I studied but I would not take her again.

Professor McKay is great! She provides great notes and works about 10-15 problems per lesson so you can fully understand the lesson for that day. One thing is that she hates phones so make sure to keep it in your pocket!! She is very sweet and kind as well and if you have any questions she doesn't hesitate to stop and help.

She's a great teacher who explains things very well and gives you a lot of examples. Although she gives you alot of homework, the problems she gives you as homework will reflect whats on the test. Be prepared to take alot of notes. Fortunately, you dont have to buy a textbook just a worksheet packet that costs about $7-10. She doesnt like phones.

If you are naturally bad at math and it takes you a lot of effort to understand concepts in math DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS. She is a horrible teacher. The whole class time consist of taking unclear notes. She doesn't explain things step by step, she just assumes you will understand because she understands and she works out examples way too fast.

Mrs. McKay is by far the best teacher I have EVER had. I've always struggled horribly in math, but ever since taking Mrs. McKay's class I fully understand math! She explains everything very well. Take notes and do your homework and you'll pass! Plus, she's such a sweet lady.

Ms. McKay is an awesome teacher. Just put your phone away, because your education matters to her. She will call you out if she sees you looking at it as well, but other than that she's helpful and she will stay with you if you need the help. She will give examples and also she wants you to ask her questions so please do. don't feel shy.

I personally have to say, that this is one of the worst professors I have ever had for a class. She messes up a lot during class, some students end up correcting her. She doesn't give back test to see what you did wrong on it. Also, she has personal problem with cell phones. Best advice, do not bother signing up for her class.

she is a nice lady but when it comes to teaching she will explain some techniques in a very confusing way. she also manages to mess up a lot when she is teaching which we (the students) will have to correct her. i wouldn't take her class again.

Mrs. Mckay is a very sweet women! I enjoyed her class very much. She will remove your lowest exam grade at the end of the semester. She also gives extra credit on exams (+5 points) if you finish the exam prep worksheet.

Mrs. Mckay is awesome! I took her for Math 0306, and wished she taught 1314! She gives tons of examples to show you how to work the problems and asks many times, if you don't understand speak up and ask questions! She's a very sweet lady, and cares about her students! Her tests are at reasonable difficulty, and she HATES cell phones! Made an A!

Professor McKay is probably one of the best instructors I've had at San Jac. I've struggled with Math my entire academic career and this semester it finally clicked. She is very clear and will answer every question you have. If you struggle with math and want an amazing math teacher you definitely need to look into taking her.

Excellent and patience teacher. She is truly there to help you understand an learning the materials. I highly recommend her to anyone. especially those that have been out of class a long time. this is the teacher for you. She never gets upset that you don't understand something and will gladly offer to help tutor you along. wonderful person.

She was an awesome teacdher. Does not use text book or math lab! all worksheets or her notes. Rarely on blackboard. Always give extra credit. Learns students by name, gets on a personal level. Attendence is mandatory and she HATES CELL PHONES. Over all GREAT CLASS!!
