this class was very interesting the test were slightly intense because sometimes there was a lot of information to remember but overall you have plenty of opportunity to increase your grade with multiple quizzes and the labs are easy and the one paper assignment is interesting as well. If you need help she is available. I reccomend this class!!

This class is quite challenging! The subject matter does not seem intimidating at all...until you take the tests. You feel like a complete idiot during the test until you all get the test back! EVERYBODY DID HORRIBLE! But no curve, make sure and ace the lab score, otherwise you'll fail! GUARANTEED! Just be ready.

I liked her very much as a teacher. I found it pretty cool how much she cared about how her students did. She always was there to help, she could tell when you wanted to ask a question too. I also found it pretty cool the effort she put toward knowing everyones name.

I have taken biology twice before and an anatomy class in high school. I thought she was the best teacher I've had to explain the topics and concepts. I think the class is very easy and if you take good notes and understand what you're writing the tests will be easy. She is always there to help and wants her students to do well.

This class was a challenge for me b/c of my own lack of preparation/work. She tried very hard to help the students that wanted to learn. she was extremely nice. her lectures are kind of boring though. this is mostly due to the subject rather than the teacher. in my opinion :)

Good teacher, nice person. I found the class to be pretty hard, although I did not put enough time into studying. She was very approachable and helpful, also puts out good study guides and practice quizes. The lectures involve a lot of notes and can be a bit dry. The tests were pretty hard, but I would do it over again.

Very helpful. Puts out excellent study guides and thoroughly explains important material. Class mainly consists of taking lecture notes, which can be dry, but it is definitely not hard. A good starter course for Biology. Take lots of notes and use the study guides- easy A.

In my 4 years of college, this may have been the most challenging class I've taken. However, out of all the classes I've taken, I've learned the most with this one. Deena is an excellent professor! I really liked her & the class, it's just not an easy class. If you're actually interested in zoology, you'll do fine. Just take lots of notes & study!

This class is ridiculously difficult! Do not take any other time demanding classes while taking this one. There is ALOT of memorizing for the quizzes the quizzes are harder than the tests though. VERY TIME CONSUMING. GOOD LUCK!

I believe I had her for a heredity class as well. She is a wonderful teacher who is more than happy to help you if you are having trouble understanding something. Her weekly quizzes really helped with the tests.

Now, she outlines everything. What she is going to have on the test, is in your notes. However, this class is WAY hard, you have to spell the science names of animals, this also includes those you cant see. If you need help she will be more the welcome to help you understand her teacherings.

Deena is a great teacher. She outlines all her notes on the board. She also gives out study guides for all the tests and so there is never anything surprising on the tests.
