Boring, boring, boring. Gives you extra information, just for fun! Gag. Easy tests though. Only one essay on each test, and he tells you beforehand what the question is. Very easy 'A', even if you sleep through class.

i really liked dr. nygren, but he was too soft on us. he is possibly the biggest clarinet nerd ever, but it's cute. some say he looks like sean connery! we used to call him "nygy-baby"

This prof is great! He is incredibly dedicated and kindhearted. He is very enthusiastic and he will play clarinet and sing for you. His clarinet even has a gold thingy on it. His tests are fair (2 are comphrensive)--honors has to write 10-12 pg. paper-have to go to 3 concerts.

Very nice and excited about music. Likes to talk about his clarinet playing experiences. Does brag often, but in a funny sort of way. Has a slight lisp that takes some getting use to. Overall, a great teacher who sppon feeds you what is on the test.
