IF YOU HAVE A SENSE OF SANITY DO NOT ASSOCIATE WITH THIS WOMAN PERSONALLY OR PROFESSIONALLY. The stories I could tell you would horrify you to your core. I unfortunately lived with it for a VERY limited time and my blood pressure SKYROCKETED to 210/120. That is a level that you need to be hospitalized. A war zone is calmer than its home.

very passionate about learning and teaching. need to be prepared and ready for discussion. seems abrasive, but is very caring. DO NOT BE LATE -- she'll call you out. she knows her stuff and has a lot of wisdom to give. need to attend class so she knows you care. just do the given assignments and participate in class discussions and you can get an A

If you're a good girl who says "yes m'am" then you'll do great. If you're a guy or a rebellous girl then you'll be her whipping target. I was the only guy in the class so I constantly got hell. Take her at your own risk, but you better learn to bite your tounge and be silent and unnoticed.

Comment:

Dr. Cudahy is one of my favorite teachers ever!! She is extremely helpful and always interested in her students. I took EDFS 201 from her and it was one of my favorite classes. There is alot of classroom discussion, 4-5 papers/essays, 2 tests/assessments, and a few quizes and 5 journal entries. Always read and be prepared to comment in class.

Comment:

Easy class. She can be a little "in your face" at times but is really nice and caring. Be on time and turn off your cell phone! Do the assigments and you'll get an A. Midterm and finals extremely easy. I would reccomend her even if you're not a teaching fellow.

She is VERY passionate. You pretty much don't have a choice if you are a teaching fellow to meet her...you will. As long as you don't mind being cut off in the middle of a sentence and told that you are wrong, you'll be fine. Just do what she says and you won't get hurt.

She's one of those people who you need to take with a grain of salt. Don't let her intimidate you, bc she gets mad at situations not you. You have to go to class, but she wont mind. And DONT let your cell go off (oops!). She is great though, excellent professor and passionate about all her students. I love her to death, super down to earth

Dr. Cudahy is the Teaching Fellows coordinator and she taught my Freshman Seminar. It's difficult to describe Dr. Cudahy; she's one of the most assertive and in your face people ever, but she's also totally dedicated to her students. She's supportive without babying and strict without being harsh. I admire her and strongly recommend her.

I enjoyed Dr. Cudahy's class. She's very helpful and understanding. She makes the class out to be harder than it is. Do not be late to her class. I watched her embaress some students. She's a great teacher and I loved her class. Ask questions and do all the assighments, she's a wonderful teacher and a great person!!!

You definetly have to get used to Dr. Cudahy. Can definetly be very intimidating in the beginning, but she grows on you! I loved her class and she is such a great teacher! Take her if you get the chance, she's awesome!

Graduate Foundations of Ed. class-she was the best professor I have had at the college. Very knowledgeable and entertaining. Lively discussion class that involves understanding the reading and presenting your viewpoint on controversial subjects. If you are uncomfortable defending your views, this will be an uncomfortable class.

Obviously biased. She wears her favouritism on her sleeve, which isn't fair for anyone. Generally unaffective, unapproachable figure who enjoys excerting her dominance over students. Power trips big time.

Personally, I love Dr. Cudahy. I think she is genuine and says what she thinks. It's refreshing to have a professor who wants you to challenge yourself. A hard-ass, and she does play favorites every now and then, but she grows on you. Can be one of the best people to talk to if you can get through her tough exterior. Intimidating, but brilliant.

She treats you like a 1st grader. She claimed that the printing press wasn't invented until the 1700s. She is rude & will yell at you if you tell her before class that you are leaving early & then do so. She will yell for accidentally leaving a cell phone on. WATCH OUT!!
