She's incredibly rude. Sometimes she's nice but it depends if you're a fluent Filipino speaker or not. She has a horrible condescending attitude that makes me want to shove her out of her dang chair. I have never hated a teacher this much. And I'm a really nice person. She's a bitter old Filipino woman who thinks she's better than everyone.

Most horrible teacher I have ever had. In the beginning I thought she was kinda cool. Boy was I wrong. She takes pleasure in embarrassing her students, putting them down, making them feel inferior to her, I could go on forever really. Apparently she knows everything so don't even try explaining anything to her. Good thing she retired.

She can be confusing and unprofessional at times. She likes to go off subject a lot and talks about her personal life. If you have no experience on speaking or understanding Tagalog, this might be a difficult class. She expects you to know the basics already and the class pace is fast.

doesn't use blackboard, wastes valuable class time with her long "jokes" & personal biases (as she rushes the class through class assignments), HORRIBLE ego, not organized, makes simple things inconceivably complicated, negative attitude, speaks to her students w/ no respect(in front of class). Doesn?t grade with obvious criteria, need i say more?

WORST. TEACHER. EVER. She wont listen to you if you have a problem, always thinks shes right, and has a haughty and condescending attitude. DO NOT TAKE IF YOU DONT ALREADY KNOW TAGALOG. She doesnt make set directions or study guides. She will ramble about the most idiotic and trivial things. Youre wasting your money if you take her class.

I liked to go to class because she always had to argue with someone and that was funny. I didnt have a problem at all but she'll do depending on her mood.. so... dont take her class. (at least if you want to laugh once in a while about her stories about her rich friends and sh..)

She's probably one of the worst teachers I've ever had and that's saying something because I'm a patient student, I'm not a straight A student but I get decent grades. Her teaching style is lazy, and she just talk about whatever she wants. When half of the class is gone every meeting, that's saying a lot. Take another language or Pil instructor.

I have 3 very long weeks left with this boring, strict, and in my OPINION, unqualified and outdated instructor. If you disagree with her, she tells you that you can drop the class!! Very rude, jumps from one topic to another, and puts her personal life that has nothing to due with the class out there. Very confusing. Do NOT take this class!!!!!

She has a tendency to jump from one subject to the next with no real fluidity in her teaching methods. She does get her point across, albeit in a confusing way. I would recommend her only if you enjoy random stories in between somewhat confusing lectures.
