Good teacher, uses real life scenarios to explain things. Although, he does go off on tangents that do not apply to the class occaisionally. Know the vocab words. Pretty laid back teacher, but he does love to start "discussions" in the classroom with small remarks. It is very interesting.

Dr. Crook is a nice man. The over all class is fairly easy as long as you study the material. However, if you are looking for quality lectures and comprehensive teaching.. He is a little weaker in that sense. Not a good lecturer. He does not stick to a curriculum. More or less talks about what is on his mind that day. But he's an easy A. :)

He is a great teacher. He will help any student that needs it. Most his tests are open book or open notes. You must still do outside studying ! Participate in DISCUSSION and you will do fine in any of his classes.

i took gen psy with him and it should have been hard not to make an A plus bc he gave us a study guide for everytest and once it ended up being the actual test. his teaching is complicated b/c he talks abt experiences or he asks the class what they wanna talk about. Every test was totaly from the book. if he likes you he'll b lenient with you.

He is a great teacher. He is all over the place in his lectures, which can be a bit frustrating. He keeps your interest in the class. His tests comes straight from the human growth and development book. Participation in class discussions is important to getting a good grade. He is very laid back. I would recommend him to others!!

Took Abnormal Psych with him and wanted to literally DIE. Barely went over any of the material which SHOULD have been so interesting. Always talked about himself, and stuff he did in his Psych101 class. Nothing he talks about is on the tests. I literally started taking notes in his class and ignoring him completely. Don't bother with this one!
